if he wrestles before the rumble, there's only one person that's big enough to face rock and not get buried deeply.

Rock is a part timer, he's like Lesnar or Taker, there not going to put him in a match on free television. It's better he doesn't wrestle before the Rumble. It makes me look forward to the match so much more.. Save the magic for the PPV

Having The Rock is a special attraction. People will pay to see him wrestle. It's like how Hogan wouldn't wrestle or sometimes even appear on TV for long stretches back in the 80's. So they would get that big PPV/attendance number.

Lesnar interferes at Rock vs Punk match, costing Rock to lose, setting up for their match at Wrestlemania.
Very simple storyline and a better money match than "Rock/Cena twice in a lifetime" if you ask me.

Lesnar can't intefere. That's the problem. He only has one PPV appearance left on his contract. If he uses it at the Royal Rumble then there is no chance for him to fight Rcok at WM29, because he's out of PPV appearances.

Didn't the contract stipulate he'll have 50-plus appearances in a year's span, whether it's TV or PPV? From what I had counted, he only has had 15 so far.

I think it actually says 30-50 appearances (not sure of the exact number) and 3 PPV appearances. He wasted one at Extreme Rules that killed all his momentum, then he had one at Summerslam. Some leaked WM29 posters are advertising Brock, so that's where he's showing up.

I really don't think Rock shoud win it.
Having 400 days WWE champion reign, just to lose to returning Rock?
Rock losing to CM Punk will be more interesting for both Punk and The Rock.

That why I think Lesnar interfering the match is the best option to go for. As for Lesnar's appearance, I don't know what the contract appearances were about, but all he has to do is show up for Rumble, screw Rock out of championship match and leave.

A few of us in this thread for months have been talking about the idea of Lesnar costing Rock the Championship so they can feud at WrestleMania and I like the idea of that happening for one of the top two special attractions I most want to see this year. Rock is still more likely to get the title at this point although I wouldn't 100 percent guarantee Rock is walking away with the gold. I wouldn't have a problem if he did win the title off of Punk. It means it took a legend to finally dethrone Punk after his long run.

Now, if people are concerned if a legend or special attraction star defeating Punk for the gold there is always Ryback winning the Royal Rumble Match and finally defeating Punk for the title at WrestleMania while Rock/Brock & Cena/Taker headline (the top two matches I want) the event. I was throwing Sheamus' name out there a couple of times to switch over and feud with Punk but it seems like that will happen later down the road since by the looks of it Sheamus might be feuding with Orton instead.

watch from 0:35 to 0:45, biggest crowd reaction in wrestling history at no way out 2000, the rock would have gotten an even bigger victory pop here if he won which would have made it the biggest victory pop of all time which would have even been bigger than backlash 2000( the biggest victory pop of all time) he got at backlash 2000, the crowd that night was GOD LIKE even bigger way bigger than MSG at the royal rumble that year.
EDIT: so fucking loud that you can barley hear Jr and Jerry speak
