Not as the main attraction, Austin was still the main guy and essential part of the build. Cena had nothing to do with celeb attractions that drew mania buyrates since 2006, because he just can't draw a wrestlemania buyrate with the PPV built around him.

Well then that's a clear indicator that no one man can sell a WrestleMania amirite?

If they had to bring in celebs when Hogan, Rock & Austin were there to help increase sales (three men who are superior to Cena in every way imaginable)& although they didn't really need it because of the talent pool those days & wrestling was WAY more popular, then what makes you think Cena can sell a Mania on his own?

I want to guess that they will do a finish involving Brad Maddox helping The Rock win.

We get a huge cluster with everybody running in at last we get bodies everywhere, laid out, including 2 refs. Maddox runs out and fast counts Punk.

Next night it is overturned and Maddox is fired (from raw atleast), and they setup the elimination chamber rematch.

I don't blame him, bro. The concept of losing hair as you gradually get up there in age is quite a mystery for some people it seems.

Cena is also the main guy and essential part of the build-up of his match with The Rock which had gotten a pretty high buyrate so using Austin as an exception to the rule isn't going to work. Also, Mike Tyson certainly was the main attraction of WrestleMania 14. He gave WWE more media coverage that they had gotten in a LONG time. The last media coverage they got before they brought in Mike Tyson as the enforcer of the Shawn Michaels vs Stone Cold match for the WWF title at WrestleMania 14 was the steroid scandal and that pretty much damaged the WWF until they started to change the direction of the company. Austin's popularity was skyrocketing but we have to be kidding ourselves if we think Mike Tyson wasn't the main attraction of WrestleMania 14.

Exactly, which is why Defei stating that the WWE has to bring in celebrities as the main attraction of WrestleMania since Cena became the top guy is a moot point. Thanks for proving my point.
