Got to disagree. I think Wrestlemania 25's match was better. While 26 was the better story and feud, 25 was just the atmosphere and pure match and what embodies a Wrestlemania moment match.

I really enjoyed the 25 one but the emotion of the 2nd match really got me into it. But you really can't go wrong with those. They're '97, '98 stuff too. Fuck they had good chemistry.

It's going to suck because after Wrestlemania 30 where Taker and HHH will be finally done, HBK is done, and Rock/Austin will call it a career for good, who's really going to have a match of the caliber those guys always put and have in their careers?

I remember saying that people need to watch 28, 29, and 30 as indicators of where the WWE will go from here and how they will evolve (or not) in the future. Wrestlemania 29 cannot botch.

I think you're missing my point. I wasn't discrediting what Rock/Cena did for the event. That said, WrestleMania has a baseline. It's not going to do less than 800K. If The Rock's on the card it's almost guaranteed to exceed a Million. Add Taker/Trips in a Cell and it's already a corker.

With that in mind, how does Rock/Cena get credit for the whole 1.3M?

I'm not interested in getting into a big discussion about buyrates. It was just meant to be a post directed at what I felt was an overly-simplified view.
