Punk did promise change, said he was an agent of change. I was such a Punk fan in 2011, I thought he was really going to change the product

Instead ratings have been in the toilet, he's still overshadowed by Cena despite being the Champion and being better in ring and on mic, a tired gimmick, reliance on shoot promos to get attention. Punk can't even cut a memorable promo without breaking the 4th wall.

Rock was absolutely right when he said the people rejected Punk. I can't even take the guy seriously anymore, and I can't suspend my disbelief when Punk keeps telling the Rock he could kick his ass even though the Rock realistically could snap him like a twig.

He's lucky Rock didn't call him out on his hypocrisy, Punk has called people homo's and told people to kill themselves, attacked a fan, but said AW went overboard for making a rape joke.

I miss Straight Edge Messiah Punk...this is just getting sad now..

Really enjoyed the promo, both guys did a great job. Punk did the full on serious heel and Rock did the comedy but also got serious and intense. Already have more interest in the match than I did with Rock/Cena. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses in the next few weeks

- Regarding The Rock winning the WWE Title from CM Punk, there is a lot of talk that the title change won't happen at the Royal Rumble. Instead, Rock would win the title at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in the Chamber main event.

- As noted, the top four matches for WrestleMania 29 are booked and not likely to be changes. This isn't confirmed but those four matches may be The Rock vs. John Cena, Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar, Sheamus vs. Randy Orton and CM Punk vs. The Undertaker.

It's said that the rest of the card is still up in the air.

I hope that's true since that would both be clearly more unpredictable booking than The Rock just coming back and winning right away, plus that it will be a more natural extension of the Punk vs Rock feud which of course means more awesome promos.

As for the other report I can't say that I'm ecstatic about Rock vs Cena again. The last Raw alone made it even more obvious how Cena just couldn't get any intensity into that feud.

Don't believe either of those reports tbh. I think Rock will either win it at the Rumble or not at all. If they are gonna keep the title on Punk until the Chamber then why not keep it on him until Mania? It would make whatever match he is in much bigger and Rock would only lose the title there anyway (Mania). A 5 week reign seems pointless to me.

And I don't believe they would go with that card, it's pretty much the worst combination they could do with the guys they have available. But I guess we'll see soon enough.

Apart from avoiding predictability I'd say that one point to it is that it will make Rock give Punk a bigger rub in a story that still has Rock as the final winner. The Rock is in no danger of losing his popularity and I'd say that it's probably more necessary overall to have him help the #1 heel than it is to give a rub to Cena.

I'm not expecting it to happen though, but I do think it would be the better choice. Another factor of what would be best is of course also how much The Rock can be on Raw from now to WM. It's hard to take into account though since we have no idea.
