It was a 99% guarantee that a feud between these two was going to be pure gold, and so far everything is holding to form.

It is a tragedy of epic proportions that most likely, we are only getting 3 weeks of this and 2 months of buildup to Cena-Rock II which is going to be yet another shitfest.

Why can't they do this:

Rock over Punk (c) at RR
Punk wins the Rumble to combat injustice and wins via Shield interference.

Cena over Rock (c) at ER
Ryback over Punk at ER

Punk over Rock AND Cena (c) at WM

With the WM card rounding out with some combination of HHH, Lesnar, and Taker. I see the WWE's dilemma. Someone is not going to win here. They could stack the card with 2 triple threats but that would be weird.

The way I interpreted you, I thought you were implying he was trying to clown on Rock. That's what rib means to me, at least. HBK overselling at SS 05 = a rib on Hogan for example.

I just don't see why he'd do that especially when its an off air segment.

AEither way just facing the rock pretty much launches punk itto the geoup of rock, cena, hogan and austin and honestly imo punk > them all especially hogan and austin who are majorly overrated and cena is so hated hes actually underrated. I mean these blind marks hate him for having he same amount of moves in his template as every oter megaface actually more yan austins and hogans three moves of BoreDoom if you see what i did there

How in the living fuck are you ranking Punk over Hogan or Austin in ANY capacity barring Hogan's in-ring ability?

Anyways, haven't watched much since June and I see I haven't missed much BUT I did skim Raw this week and watched the Rock/Punk showdown. I fucking love the spotlight being SOLELY on these two. No Cena or outside interference. Just straight up, one-on-one mano y mano promo-down. It was a fantastic promo, but Rock brought it a bit more than Punk did. Both shined really bright.
