It clearly matters to some extent, especially in pro-wrestling and super-especially in WWE as it's always been built around larger than life characters. Punk can usually get away with it because of his intensity and his move-set but when he's standing against the Samoan/Black Zeus it looks a bit ridiculous.

I've said it before, but Rock i really wish he lost about 10 pounds for this. It's not as if he needs to look so jacked given how charismatic he is, plus he's nowhere near as mobile as he used to be.

Nobody said it was real. It's about buying into the characters and the show. All this walking the line of kayfabe stuff certainly doesn't help Punk in that regard though since he doesn't look like he could beat anybody up but disregarding all that and staying with the characters, what reason does anybody have to believe CM Punk the character, when he says he's going to kick somebody's ass, least of all one who looks like The Rock? We have none. Just 15 minutes prior he needed help to win a match again. He isn't booked to back up what he says so when he does actually say things like that, it's funny. Arms too short to box with God? Son, your arms are too short to box at all. It would be much easier to buy if he wasn't booked like a pussy and didn't look like a small child next to the people he's talking to. But he does, so it's funny and completely backfires on him. That whole last part about kicking Rock's ass had me rolling. He can't play the intimidating so called 'dangerous' man he's trying to portray and act like the last 6 months haven't happened. It doesn't work that way. If they wanted that type of character they should have booked for it the second he hit that GTS back in July.

Enough of that though, please, continue with your irrelevant science fiction analogies. WWE needs more light sabers and mind control powers tbh.

Oh well, it's a good thing he is anyway because NO-ONE wants to see cowardly Punk vs The Rock, it'd be very boring and draining and no-one for one second would think he actually stands a chance at damaging the guy. We need to see an aggressive Punk who THINKS he can overthrow the man that Cena couldn't.
