Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
The Rock does, what The Rock does, I'm just over it because I'm older. I was never a big Rock mark but I'm sure I would have had a big chuckle at "cookie puss" if I was 15-16 years old (which I was in 1999-2000). Today, its a bit juvenile but its what you expect from a Rock promo.
I was actually interested in what crazy joke he was going to come up with. Crackhead Popeye & cookie puss aren't his best jabs but at least the popeye one is actually kinda close.
In any event, you don't expect legends to come back and NOT do their shtick....I would never say Flair shouldn't Wooo because people love it, hell I love it and that's what we want to see. People want him to do his thing, all he needs is a target.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
Hogan had a few harsh words for Punk last year but it wasn't a big deal, just Hulkster replying to a question and defending his ego.

you can't deny Rock was intense during that promo, especially towards the end when shit was really going down
you could tell that both men shared A LOT of chemistry when they were in the ring together, something Rock/Cena lacked a lot
and speaking of selling the match, RR tickets as of last night are completely sold out , i'd say they sold it well

I think he was intense for parts of it, but sort of went off the rails on others. He'll get another shot though, it's not like this is going to be their last promo together.
And yes, they did have chemistry, and yes, they did sell the match in one promo far better than Cena/Rock managed to do in months worth of promos. That's what happens when you make the focus about two guys wanting to fight instead of who doesn't like who backstage and has to read a promo off his wrist and who doesn't.

What a stupid comparison. Bruce lee never looked like he was out of breath everytime he throws one simple punch. Bruce Lee never looked like he was about to collapse everytime he performs a complicated martial arts maneuver. Bruce Lee actually performed maneuvers PROPERLY. And Bruce Lee actually had the body of an athleteand an ass kicker.
I mean does the guy in the 2nd pic looked he's an ass kicker just because his average joe physique is spread with ink? Stop playing make believe among yourselves Punkettes.
Hell, even I could kick his 97 lbs cookie puss ass if given the chance.

You call out another group of people collectively for being bias and then you make a big post full of bias shit. And classic case of "I'm sitting behind my computer therefore I'm a badass routine" right here.
He's obviously not the size of Rock, that's clear as day, but he's not exactly scrawny either.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
Just read the Smackdown spoilers,Rock has cut an awesome promo,I can tell it from the spoilers, can't wait to watch it.
I knew that we were going to get back the classic Rock, last year Rock held back on the mic to put Cena over, this year the Rock is back to show his true potential.
The funny thing about his Smackdown promo spoiler is that it doesn't mention Rock said his catchphrases,I atleast expected him to say the 'Layin the Smackethdown catchphrases'.This proves that Rock doesn't need to rely on catchphrases.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
Anyone else find it funny that pynk quoted nas last night with that box with god line? Punk just earned omega street cred. Also i predicted rock vs cena II after he lost last year. Only way i guy whos been part time or less since 2000 besting the top fave for nearly an decade makes any sense , only way vince can make amends for shitting in his entire cutrent roster by having a guy thats been busy playing a tooth fairy beat a guy that wvry other wrestler on the rosster who does this nearly everyday couldnt do, the current roster couldn't look worst tjan what vince made thek look in favor of an era that died out long ago ask TNA if the AE still sales
Excuse me if there typos im on my phone

I got this from a friend on Youtube.

Dude I got a friend who lives in Las Vegas and he said they started airing local tv ads for future Raws with a quick preview and he said for the one after RR it says "how will the Rock respond to losing at RR"
