You people complaining about the rock are delusional.. The rock did fantastic in this promo.. As did punk. The rock is the baby face in this feud. Of course his promo is going to contain elements that are childish.. The product is aimed at children!! He's always been that way as a baby face! But what gets adults behind the rock is how he is able to mix in those childish joke (which kids love), with his intensity and sheer presence and charisma.. It's unbelievable how charismatic this man is.. I think the rock is the best ever when it comes to that combination as a baby face. All of you thinking of his old promos from 1999 are thinking of his heel and tweener persona. From 2000-2002 as a baby face, he was like this (saying childish things).. As far as cm punk goes.. Pure epic heel promo. Both guys delivered Bigtime here. And all the fans that the rock is going to bring to this feud will recognize just how truly awesome cm punk is. Cm Punk is truly great.. But what's the point of being great if no one knows who you are? It's obvious the rock knows, which is why he put punk over so hard in this promo (in his very first promo back no less.). Forget the old rock.. Hell, forget the old cm punk. This feud is going to be awesome. Sit back and enjoy the work that these two masters of the game are about to produce in THIS feud.. You won't regret it..

Name me a wrestler who doesn't make a cheesy promo or who hasn't had one. I think a lot of you casual fans like to read a few comments on here and jump on a bandwagon. I'll admit im only a part time watcher of wrestling now but it's great to see Rock back.
