You know why Punk/Rock is a better feud than Cena/Rock?

Because they're allowed to get physical. Rock and Cena seemingly weren't allowed to fucking touch each other in the run up to Mania, after a while the monologue/retort/monologue/retort shtick got fucking tired and they literally ran out of reasons to hate each other. You know when the Rock/Cena feud was actually good? The night before WM 27 when Cena attacked the Rock from behind. Then it was all downhill from then.

Punk and Rock need to beat the shit out of each other for the next 3 weeks.

I know CM Punk says he isn't a fan of the Rock but I think I could tell Punk was excited and eager to work with Rock when he came out.

Everyone should be eager in the back to work with Rock. The main spotlight is one you. More $$$$$ and the main event at any PPV you work with him on.

Punk's definitely a fan in a sense, when you're going up against a star of Rock's caliber it's impossible not feel some sort of awe, eagerness or jealousy.

Great job by both guys in the promo last night. Rock was excellant and I felt he was better than Punk IMO. Rock words had some meaning behind them, especially at the beginning. I.e. Punk calls himself straight edge yet looks like a crack head or Punk promised change but couldn't even give the fans ice cream. Rock basically indirectly called Punk a hypocrite and a liar. Rock could have broken kayfabe by saying how Punk failed to revolutionise the business because he is the worst drawing champion in 17 years but there is no need for that.

It's funny how CM Punk fans are acting like Punk has never said anything so cheesy. This is the same guy who said "you're stupid, ugly and have no friends" and "clown shoes" to John Laurinitis. If Punk was the face and Rock was the heel then I bet Punk would have said the most lamest insults.

Let's see, he used "Cookie Puss" and called CM Punk a crackhead popeye. "There are no voiceless" was clever by the Rock. And then the tattoos of the candy logos on CM Punk's butt. This was typical Rock. Some like it, some don't...but there is not an edgier version of the Rock out there. This is the best he can give. Because even if WWE Raw was R-Rated, it would be the same promo with some profanity which does not make it better.

CM Punk can cut a PG rated promo, play by the rules, speak the truth, and still be better than the Rock's broderline R-rated promo.

What did Punk say that was the "truth?" all he did was cry about why hes not the star he thinks he should be and make excuses for it, same thing hes been doing for over a year. You want an "edgier" Rock, really? You want him to go out there and bury your hero? He can mention how he doesnt draw ratings/PPV, how even with the title he plays 2nd fiddle to Cena, and how he will only headline WM if Steve comes back so is that what you really want?

Rock headlined WM with Hogan and Steve and now has to sell a guy like Punk whos so far beneath his level as a threat and guess what? He did it perfectly, he made him seem more legit than anyone else has during his forgettable title reign.
