If you want to entertain and help that's how you do it. If these current "superstars" can't take being buried then they need to find a new line of work. Angle, Jericho, Taker, Foley, HHH, Austin were all "buried" by the Rock and took it like men. He needs to return as the bullying, smartass, cocky babyface so that way people on here and elsewhere wouldn't feel like Punk "owned" him.

PG does NOT mean "kid-friendly". Stop using the rating as an excuse for poor WWE programming.

Watching that pre-rock promo again, and i can't believe how people can't like it. It is absolutely amazing if you ask me.

Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
This was great. Punk is playing his role perfectly and deserves not only respect for what he is saying and how he plays with the audience, but also for he acting ability. i think he should get the oscar.

Thankful for CM Punk making me watching WWE again.

A legend never dies: June 18, 1962 - June 13, 2009
Not removing until:
[] Shelton Benjamin makes a comeback
[] Charlie Haas makes a comeback
[] Kenny Dykstra makes a comeback
[] Raw makes again a 6.5 or even a higher rating
[] John Morrison becomes WWE champion
[] CM Punk wins Royal Rumble
[] CM Punk and Daniel Bryan main eventing Wrestlemania in an iron man match (and so creating epic stuff as e.g. misawa and kawada did in their matches) [] WWE pays tribute to Mitsuharu Misawa
Punk holding the title for 434 days was epic. it was the greatest reign in the history of wrestling (but not the way the reign ended): 4-3-4 4-3-4 4-3-4
- A source reported on Monday that WWE has officially locked in the top 4 WrestleMania 29 matches. Last night at RAW they began something a bit different this year with the creative team booking backwards from WrestleMania to now.
- There was some doubt regarding Steve Austin's status for next week's RAW 20th Anniversary show but word now is that something happened over the weekend and Austin will most likely be appearing now. WWE is looking to go very big with next week's show.

I forget, was that line about the fans? The fans of today aren't smart enough. They are really stupid. They don't know when to pop for a promo line or when to shut up.
Re: Official The Rock vs. CM Punk Discussion Thread
Punk absolutely bossed the Rock last night and I loved it. Rock's involvement in the WWE title picture worried me at first and if we're all totally honest, it's hurt the product over the last few months. However, he's really giving Punk a rub here and although he'll kick his arse at the Rumble, Punk's going to come out of this looking like gold.
