Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
Their won't be another Rock or even Austin or anyone on that tier again IMO, the business has changed and they were the right talents for the right time.
but WWE have missed out with a lot of hugely charismatic talents in recent years which could all have been big players in WWE today, like Carlito, Mr Anderson and MVP, hell The Miz was on fire in 2010/11 but they've completely dropped him, he's turned into a bland character who never cuts promo's and just wrestles and loses to main eventers.

Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
Nobody will ever match Rock's talent and charisma in this industry, that was once in a lifetime deal. But I completely agree with Hazzard on Anderson, and I will add Pope to that list. Anderson in 2010 was the best playing character in wrestling, his classic matches and promos in the Angle feud(Best overall program of the year along with Flair/Lethal)was something from different era. Awesome heel. Then he turned and was great as a babyface with Hardy and against him. Huge waste since then. In that 2010 period, when Pope was also doing great work, I saw the Rock/Austin interaction of this generation with Pope/Anderson. Real big money potential in them. They were a big hope for a new megastar in the industry but it's over now.

Will The Rock work at Elimination Chamber?
^Tittle. If he does win the WWE Championship at the Rumble, which is almost 100% garantee, Elimination Chamber is inevitable, he's gonna have to defend it. Or will WWE pull off something else?
What do you think?

Re: Will The Rock work at Elimination Chamber?
Probably just a number one contender's chamber, keeping Rock from wrestling.

Re: Will The Rock work at Elimination Chamber?
If he wins the title and if he has a match it probably will just be a rumble re-match. I can't see him being in the Chamber.

Re: Will The Rock work at Elimination Chamber?
I'd like to think that he'll work a full schedule from Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania. I might be unrealistic, but there are a few matches that people genuinely want to see. The Rock vs CM Punk (where he wins the title), The Rock vs Brock Lesnar (where The Undertaker interferes and sets up a Brock/Undertaker match) and the obligatory Rock/Cena II. I'm not sure what their plans will be, but these are three big money matches that they could do with booking.

Yeah.
I'm thinking a Smackdown guy wins the Rumble and challenges for the World title, which leads to the Raw Chamber being a number 1 contender WWE title match, and the SD chamber being for the World title.

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!
RAW Elimination Chamber will be for the #1 contender for the WWE Championship in WM. And maybe Rocky will defend the title in a one on one match in a RR rematch

Re: Will The Rock work at Elimination Chamber?
I don't see why not. They got him to do that tag team match with Cena at Survivor Series, and he didn't really need to. WWE should pull out all the stops and have Rock successfully defend his gold at least once before WrestleMania, where he'd likely drop it. Depending on who Rock faces at Mania, a Chamber match can be booked so that he largely avoids that person.
It could be hyped as Rock's first time in the Chamber, and will The Great One survive and make it to Mania as Champion? Sure would help the PPV buys for the show, anyway.
