lol they both did a good job people are getting a massive hard on to pick who owned who..the only truth is they owned everyone in the audience and on tv to tune in and buy that royal rumble PPV like pros.

Awesome promo from both and the intensity was superb. Better than Cena/Rock by a mile. Too bad this isn't gonna happen at WM.

That was a VERY good start for the feud. It was good promos from both of them. Im sure everyone will have their favorites.
Liked CM Punk better tonight.
Would have prefered less corny jokes from The Rock, sometimes they are hit and sometime they are miss. Cookie Puss was a total miss. And please dont bring that up again.
Im sure both sides will have some great back and forths to come.
Already a lot better then Cena/Rock.

Punk definitely won that round...now now...let me explain...
the rock's mic work came off as being tired and played out, if Cena had been saying those things the forum would be losing its collective shit over it. it was corny and over played, I know its The Rock's 'thing' but times have changed and throwing out catchphrases or asking someone to get naked (DAFUQ) just doesn't cut it. Punk called out his bullshit and the crowd actually considered his judgements.
Punk had soooo much intensity in that promo. Its obvious, to him, this is THE defining moment in his career and he ain't gunna hold back.
his " your arms are just too short to box with god" line was pure fucking gold. to me, that is the take away line of the night.

I don't get this new fascination of arguing back and forth over who won a promo. That was one hell of a segment between Rock and Punk, the best in quite some time and has begun what is looking like being one hell of a feud!
