Otherwise, its pretty random for him to go off on Rock out of the blue.

Most likely, probably just doing some promoting, he's one of the main fixtures right now, and is doing a lot of promoting for the WWE lately. I would think When Rock decides to return to his show (SD) then maybe Orton and Sheamus and maybe even Show will send a little tweet.

Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
Doesn't anyone remember how Punk was tweeting negative things towards The Rock and talking shit in interviews, however all of that changed immediately once Wrestlemania was over? Punk said in his first interview after Mania that "Rock proved me wrong, him coming back was great." They even hugged after Punk's match at Wrestlemania. I think it's pretty clear Punk, and hell probably even Orton, did that because as number 2 and number 3 in the company, they would need a back-up plan in case Cena got injured.

Before you all go crazy, it was a joke. But in regards to Ziggler, what a fucking embarrassment. He's legitimately crying for attention there.

Can't fucking stand him either.

Exactly, all butthurt mother fuckers.

Sees this and goes to Rio Ferdinands twitter.
So true.

And what's all this talk of Ziggler? Skipped some pages and too lazy to go through them all to find whatever tweet he's written. I know one thing. He should NOT get a match with The Rock before Orton. And as much as I hate Punk, Ziggler going against The Rock would be career suicide. To give Punk some credit, at least he wont look completely embarrassed next to The Rock since he has some mic skills and can have a comeback after being insulted. Ziggler couldn't even handle The Terminator on twitter.

Yeah, who wants to see a poor mans Billy Gunn headlining a PPV with The Rock?

Maybe. But I'll go with Wade Keller on this. Punk had been angling for a match with Rock ever since he came back and really picked it up after that promo in 2011. Orton got told to shut up because he wasn't that high up anymore and they couldn't tell Punk to shut up because he was the hottest thing in the business. But he'd been angling for it since he came back and RR and the match has been planned since WM 28. So once Punk got his match, he stopped. Even when he turned heel and he knew the match was one, he never went in on Rock like he did pre-WM.

Also an interesting point and a possibility, but I guess we'll never truly know the story.

Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
Pretty sure Orton never whined about The Rock. He was just asked in an interview around WM time about the Rock and Cena wrestling and he said in his opinion, Cena is better. The next time he talked about The Rock was in that summer interview where he was burying everyone left and right. Same question came up and he said Rock went to Vince and said that Orton was shooting on HHH to get him buried or something but it didn't happen. Then he said something about teleprompters and how much Cena is ahead of everyone else on the mic including The Rock. But that was the last of it as the next time he discussed the subject, he basically ate all his words and thanked The Rock for raising his WM paycheck.
