In the case that CM Punk wins the championship match tomorrow night, that is. We all know how things went with the year build up between Rock and Cena but everytime Rock tried to get some anger / hate / actual aggression / competitiveness into the feud, Cena would play his classic old goofy and sarcastic attitude that kept it from being really very interesting. It will be interesting to watch and compare these two feuds and see what kind of hostility they can bring in the next few weeks.

I think there's a lot more intensity because Punk is a heel who has that mean streak. He's been playing a little more of a cowardly heel but even that works more. Punk could hit a lot of the same points Cena hit about Rock being part-time, he could just do it with more venom. Heyman could also get involved with some of that.

The big angle that Punk can hit that Cena didn't is that Rock was a handpicked golden boy from the beginning (Cena obviously couldn't go into that) and Punk earned it by being the best in the world.

I'm excited to see Rock and Punk interact in this build-up.

Punk is the best promo guy in the company and is old school so he and Rock should have a better understanding about what their feud should be about and how their promos should come off unlike Mr. Happy-go fuck yourself- lucky...

Nobody needs that stupid crap in a feud over the WWE Championship. They need to keep it kayfabe and stop all the "shoot" promo stuff. It didn't work last time with Rock vs. Cena and made their entire feud lackluster.
