Great. My confidence in him becoming champion is growing with all these appearances. No reason for him to appear between RR and EC if he's not champion.
Some people are still talking about who "needs" or "deserves" to win? Not understanding that the Jordan, Maradona, Jackson and Elvis of the wrestling industry is above all this little kayfabe BS. I guess they will never get it. Rock is doing this for fun, for him and his fanbase's enjoyment, any other detail about pointless, scripted W/Ls is completely irrelevant. If Rock thinks it will be a great moment for him to win the belt again, he's winning the belt. Just like he's appearing on SD from his hometown, nothing is more important for him than the rare crowd interaction he has in everything he does.

Always said that this is Vince's best promo of all time. He had some classics as he's one of the greatest performers of all time, one memorable is the one after JD 1998 when the roster was in the ring. But this is at the Top of the list. The way he created excitement on this level and blew the arena with only a Rock teaser was great. Crowd couldn't wait to see Rock again after 3 months, first time Rock disappeared for more than 2 weeks in a 4 year period. The amazing ovation in Philly the week after was one of the biggest the building has ever seen.

Apparently there are growing objections concerning The Rock's involvement at the Royal Rumble. Not sure if this was already posted, but here is the gist of the issue.
WWE has already ruined, buried, disrespected, and degraded the meaning and importance of the Rumble a long time ago. The last two Rumble winners went on to OPEN WrestleMania and one of those matches lasted 18 seconds.
