It's really not that much of a big deal if Rock beats Punk for the Title. How is it a BAD thing that he drops the title to the biggest star associated with wrestling? Would you rather him drop it to Justin Gabriel or Tensai?

This is a misleading question, the answer is obviously no but that doesn't mean the only other answer is Rock, there are a few superstars in between.

Whatever, I actually am in favour of a Rock title run if he's full time which he seems to be for the RtWM. Yeah, Rock doesn't need another title reign but a) the wrestling industry needs another Rock title reign, not a permanent fix but a good short term one and b) I don't need another chocolate bar, but like another Rock title run, another one will be a very enjoyable experience.

And in the end that's why I support Punk and watch wrestling as a whole, the enjoyment.

Looks like this will be Rocky's longest run since 2002. He made 12 appearances in 2003:

No Way Out - Feb 23rd

Raw - Feb 24th
Raw - March 3rd
Raw - March 10th

Wrestlemania 19 - March 30th

Raw - March 31st
Raw - April 7th
Raw - April 21st

Backlash - April 27th

The only Raw he missed was April 14th, where he did a satellite promo. So far this year, we know he'll be at a fair few shows so far and I imagine more dates will be confirmed.

January 7th - Raw
January 8th - Smackdown
January 14th - Raw 20th Anniversary
January 21st - Raw
January 22nd - Smackdown
January 27th - Royal Rumble
January 28th

February 17th - Elimination Chamber
February 18th

March 31st

April 7th - Wrestlemania 29


That's 11 dates so far. So when it's all said and done we'll have at least 15 appearances or more. And this is at a time when Rock is about twenty times busier than he was in 2003. Anybody who criticises him for being part time needs to think again.

I'm still not 100 percent certain it's happening, tbh. The reason I say that is the direction WWE decide to go for WrestleMania just seems unclear to me. We have talked for the last six months about the various options they have with the available big stars this year so I am completely intrigued to see where they decide to go at the Royal Rumble.
