I really am going to lol when Brock/HHH doesn't happen. I'll genuinely be shocked if it does and WWE isn't very good at genuinely shocking me anymore. In kayfabe, Brock has no reason to want another match with HHH and in kayfabe CM Punk isn't anywhere close to Undertaker's radar never mind on it. Rock/Cena II, that's the only lock imo. Meltzer can shove his 'confirmations' up his ass where they belong.

Starbuck, you talk like Meltzer never gets anything right. Him and Bryan Alvarez have got loads of stuff right over the last few months and weeks. Simple fact is. Dave talks to people behind WWE and TNA scenes and he reports what he's told. And he didn't confirm anything. He's been saying the same for months because thats what he's told.

I never said he never gets anything right. Pretty sure he does talk to people but Vince probably hasn't even made his mind up on what happens for Raw next week. I have no doubt that Lesnar/HHH and Punk/Taker have been discussed but to say that they're confirmed when we haven't even hit the Rumble yet is retarded. All the stupid bitching about it is retarded too. When the matches get announced, then we can start bitching. Until then however, nothing is certain so I don't see the point in whining and contemplating selling your tickets and all that shit. It's stupid.

Besides, whilst Meltzer has got things right, I wouldn't exactly call it some great achievement. The vast majority of internet wrestling 'reporting' is complete and utter speculation based on educated guesses. You win some you lose some. Obviously folks are more inclined to believe what he says because of his sources but he's been proven wrong just as many times as he's been proven right. I take it all with a grain of salt and prefer to go with my gut. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong and that's that but I can make educated guesses based on what I see on my TV every week too just like anybody else, sources or no sources.

Vince had made his mind up about l WM 28 2 top matches the night after WM 27. Taker/HHH was penned in to happen as HHH said on a radio show when hyping WM 28 and Jericho/Punk match was made in the summer of 2011.

He does plan his top matches for WM in advance.

Taker/HHH for 28 was a lock because there was literally NOBODY else for Taker to face lol. Of course it was confirmed right after 27. Punk/Jericho was decided when they got Jericho to resign because again, there was literally NOBODY else for Punk to face since all the big names were taken. Jericho was basically the only option. Things aren't the same this time. Vince has Rock, Brock, Taker, HHH and Cena all at his disposal. What he decides to do with them is one thing but I very much doubt anything is set in stone at this point and certainly not to the extent that you can go making 'confirmed' statements about the card. After the Rumble things will start taking shape. Until then, I'm not believing anything I read on the internet from Meltzer or anybody else for that matter.

Btw, thanks for Xmas well wishes lol.

Rock has backstage run ins with Punk and Ryback before their match on RAW, then Punk cheats his way into a win against Ryback, then Rock runs out and gives him the rock bottom. Probably what will happen.

It's not about Brock having a reason, it's about HHH having a reason and if they go with Lesnar/HHH, it'll be somehow HHH pulling Lesnar into a match, probably luring him in to "finish him off" since he failed to at Summerslam. Of course, it would lead to a HHH win, they'll be a tied, and if Lesnar re-signs, we'll probably be "treated" to the rubber. And for Taker/Punk, once again it's not about Punk being on Taker's radar, but rather the appeal of the streak that lures Punk in and knowing that if he ends it, he'll get the respect he desires. I mean, kayfabe-wise HHH wasn't even on Taker's radar for Wrestlemania 27 (no one in specific was), but it ended up happening. If you're talking credibility/star-power wise, you may have a point, but there is no one else for Taker if they go with the obvious rematches of Rock/Cena and Lesnar/HHH. Besides those guys, Punk's their best bet unless they want to build Orton back up, but at this point he's been booked just as weak if not weaker than CM Punk, and he's a face. Ryback still has ways to go despite being the most credible superstar based on build to put the streak in jeopardy. I think in a couple of years if Taker goes on past WM30, Ryback would be a good option if he maintains the aura he has now. Sheamus doesn't have the star power or exposure Punk has right now and isn't as credible as Ryback so that's a no-no. And no one else is really in the realm of possibility.

They could always have Taker take Wrestlemania off, but at the same time his streak has been too big a part of Wrestlemania these last few years where having it in a lower position than it's been the last few years is better than not having at all.

Anyway, it just seems obvious to me they're planning for the two big rematches from 2012 in Rock/Cena, with Rock winning the title and Cena getting a shot in some way, and Lesnar/HHH based on HHH's last promo. Taker/Punk or a Taker match isn't as much of a lock for me, though with him supposedly training for Mania, who knows? But it should be Punk/HHH and either Taker/Lesnar and Rock/Cena II or Taker/Cena and Rock/Lesnar.
