Cause a face/face feud worked out so well last year.
Punk is not going to benefit from a face/face feud because he would still get booed. At least this way he adds to his credibility as a wrestler and as a heel.

I know I have said this many times already...but I am still ok with Cena/Rock 2 only if Cena turns heel.

LOL  Still remember that vid BOD posted with Punk saying "My name is CM..." and it cut to Rock saying "Punk ass BITCH!!!". The vid was gold. Surely Rock and Punk can make an entertaining program.

I'm on the side that thinks punk should've remained the Tweener he was in the summerslam 2012 era (prior to the GTS to the rock) instead of going full blown heel, he was essentially an evil jackass but didn't care about faces or heels (he attacked both cena and big show along with heel daniel bryan), he could still kick both of them, he was on top of that a sly calculating jerk
right now he is a full blown cowardly heel that resorts to crowd insults to garner heat, but he instead gets cheered because he is just too good to actually get real visceral heat ala SES version
