Could do that indeed. But I think that would be a potential waste of a Rock showing. Unless he goes on to continue in the match. I mean I imagine a lot of people would of bought a ticket to see The Rock in another WWE Title match and for him to be taken out before hand and not compete would be a bit of a waste.
Yea, he'd need to continue and maybe have Heyman throw in a pipe for Punk so he retains like how Flair helped Triple H retain in the 03 chamber against Goldberg. That or Brock hides inside the chamber and waits til it's down to Rock vs Punk and attacks Rock so Punk retains again.
They have a lot of ways they could make this feud epic and give us a great pay off at Wrestlemania (Rock/Brock etc), but knowing the WWE we won't have any of these. It's why I am not getting my hopes up at all.
GOOD GOD DAT POP.............GOOD GOD DAT OVATION..............GOOD GOD THOSE CHANTS............GOOD GOD THOSE SIGNS................BY GAWD IS THE ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK
Also, I don't think those Rock/Austin matches were planned long term. Rock/Austin II was supposed to happen at WM 16. 316AE has posted the report from Torch on several occasions that confirms this but Austin was injured so it had to happen next year. Rock/Austin III was never the initial plan at WM 19 (it was Rock/Goldberg) but they couldn't come to terms with Goldberg on a contract so they went with Rock/Austin.
You guys may be onto something. Brock interfering at RR actually sounds very plausible.
There's a pretty good chance they're saving the Cena rematch for 30. Look at the Austin feud: 15, 17, 19.
I'd think it'd be smarter for them to do this instead of doing it at 29. Have them both look strong after perhaps Rock beating Brock at WM and Cena most likely winning the WWE Championship at WM 29. But, I just have a feeling that Rock vs Cena II will happen again at WM 29.
Fuck any idea involving Punk retaining. He needs to lose the title and stay away from it for a good while. The Chamber screwjob idea has made me think of something new, though.
> Rock beats Punk clean at the Rumble.
> He's in the chamber match with 5 other men.
> In the chamber, Rock looks like he's beating the last man in there (Cena) but Brock comes out (like EC 2010 with HBK/Taker) and F5s The Rock resulting in Cena winning the title.
> Rock vs Brock at WM.
That's definitely the ultimate win for me. But at the same time, I think Rock should go into Mania as champion since he'll be there every week anyways.
