Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
I'd rather Punk vs. Rock at WM because I know it will be a good match, I honestly don't give a damn about sales because I don't work for WWE, unlike half the people on this forum who are apparently senior executives or whatever based on their obsession with buy-rates or whatever.

Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
Bryan Alvarez speculates in the new Figure Four Weekly that the big thing thats changed on the WM card is that the Rock V Cena match WONT be for the WWE championship.
500 days incoming.

Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
Everybody is too focused on the outcome. Why can't we just look forward to having an epic main event (really should've been saved for WM 29 IMO) overall? FFS, The Straight Edge Savior is going to take on The People's Champion! This is a match we thought we'd never see!

Which would be an ABSOLUTE WASTE on a PPV where Rock already has the star power covered. Why not save Austin for a PPV where Rock isn't on the card? That way you can ensure high buyrates for two PPVs in a year.

Even Undertaker would get booed against Punk in Chicago.

Rock beats Cena and now Punk?
I hope Punk beats Rock. There is no logic in a part-timer beating two of the biggest stars of the company regardless of how big a star he is in Hollywood.
Then Punk can boast how he is better than Rock and is also better than Cena since he did something Cena could never do

I agree they should end Raw 20th anniversary but the roster coming to give them both a standing ovation?I think it is disrespecting to all other guys who worked their asses off.

After everything he's done for them, ESPECIALLY after we've ALREADY SEEN Cena vs Rock at Mania, and it was ungodly bad, this is an insult, and honest to God, if I were in Punk's position, I would quit to teach them a lesson, because that's what they deserve for screwing over their best talent.

And what would that be?
Oh, I know, they would finally realize what a worthless hack they've wasted all this time on building up even though he can never be a draw. So him quitting tells them to focus on somebody who can actually make their future brighter!
The only thing Punk deserves is a push down the sewer where he can be surrounded by what he is.

Whats the point of saving Austin Rock is most likley gonna be at WM 30 as well so so theres no point to keep Austin off again.
