Yeah would have preferred it to highlight some of Punk, #365, "beaten all your heroes" and then cue'ing to Rock (which didn't need much) except Rocky Chants and "Finally".

Regarding Rock at EC, I think that let's everyone have their cake and eat it too. Ryback wins the Rumble and says he's going to challenge the WWE Champion, Rock/Punk at RR ends with the pay off, Rock wins his 10th WWE title. Everyone celebrates with joy at Punk finally being dethroned but Punk gets his rematch but so do 4 others in the Elimination Chamber.

Whoever WWE feels best to face Ryback at WrestleMania (Punk/Cena/whoever) Rock and Punk are the final two when it looks like Rock is about to get the win Brock comes from under the Chamber to F5 Rock leaving a shocked Punk to crawl to a cover and regain his title (epic heel heat for both) and WrestleMania is setup.

That's my point. Rock's matches are a rare event today, we don't know how many matches he has. I just don't want to see him wasting one of his last matches on a pointless, throwaway match and PPV when there are so many better options. Rock is wrestling Punk at the Rumble. Then you have Ryback which you can do Rock/Ryback with all the focus on that match. I don't care about the Kofi Kingstons of the roster filling random spots.

That can be just me but if better options are available in a run when everything is organized months in advance like Rock has, I will expect to see it. Last year the build up was a disaster and basically killed the chamber concept. Nobody cared about it. So while the idea of Rock in that structure for the first time ever is great, the match itself lost all credibility with the PPV they did. I would love to see Rock in a chamber if it was the 2002-2006 EC, not the current version.

Like I said, I will be much more open for it if Rock is wrestling a new opponent. There shouldn't be any rematches in his current run. During Hollywood Rock's run, Rock had around 7-8 matches, all of them with different opponents. That's the way it should be now.

You're right we don't know how many more matches he has. I'm 99% sure it's not a lot and I don't expect to see Rock wrestle after WM again. So the more I get to see him compete in any match then I don't care. As long as I get to see him perform. I think every Rock fan should be like that.

You can look at it in two different ways. One is that we don't know how many times he's going to wrestle and want to see as much as possible during that time. And two, because of the rare matches, we want to see the best combinations.

What I said is basically the combination of the two. Because there's not a reason we can't get these matches every time Rock is wrestling when everything is booked that much time in advance.

Either way, I don't really care, Rock being involved in the industry again is enough for me.
