If he wrestles anyone else other than Cena/Punk (and I guess perhaps Orton), it'll probably be Sheamus. I mean who else is there? Vince is only gonna be putting Rock in the biggest money matches he can come up with so there's little chance of seeing him go against guys like Bryan, Ziggler or anyone like that. I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't see Lesnar/Rock at some point though.
I think realistically it's Rock-Punk, some combination of Rock-Cena-Punk-Lesnar at Mania and then who knows, he may retire completely after that run is over
The time is NOW for Brock-Rock. They probably planned it out with Lesnar a year in advance to be honest. They probably told Brock that he would come in, work 3 matches with Cena, HHH, and Rocky (fuck, he could work the chamber and have Rock cost him a #1 Contendership) , and the rest of the year he could sit back and do nothing.
Fuck, come to think of it.. Rock probably REQUESTED Brock to come back for a match at XXIX. Rock loves box office draws , Rock-Brock = the biggest potential moneymaking match in wrestling today. WWE will do what makes them the most revenue , and even though Rock-Cena made a ton of money... Rock/Brock would outdo that I'm pretty sure for the sheer spectacle of a former UFC heavyweight champion taking on one of the biggest action stars in Hollywood today, in a WWE setting.
Title or non-title. Just do it.

If Rock vs. Lesnar happens, please don't make it for the title. If Rock vs. Lesnar vs. Cena happens... sure, throw in the title since Cena's guaranteed to be there anyway past WM29. Only exception for the first sentence is if Rock or Lesnar is actually sticking around past WM29 to defend the title at PPVs. I just don't want to see some bullshit like the title getting vacated and not using the appeal/credibility Rock/Lesnar gives the title to possibly rub off on someone currently on the roster. Vacating it the night after Mania would just destroy that credibility imo. That's my biggest concern with Rock/Lesnar being for the title.
Otherwise, I'm more than happy to see Rock/Lesnar. If that happens and Taker/Cena happens... damn that'll automatically make the tickets I bought for the show worth it.

I'm not crazy about Rock/Lesnar as most people here are, but as I've said way too many times, as long as we don't get Rock/Cena...I'll be more than content with the tickets I bought as well :P
Can't believe it's only less than 4 months away...
Okay, so assuming Rock still wrestles after XXIX .... Who would you like to see him take on in the future from the current roster ? Is there anybody else BIG enough out there to even face Rock outside of the obvious Brock, Cena, Punk, and Orton?
I'm calling a Punk-Rock rematch at Summerslam, or at SOME point during the next 2 years. Whoever loses goes over in this one. Seriously, WHO ELSE could potentially beat the Rock (whoever does, it's gonna be fucking HUGE) outside of Cena and Punk and have it be atleast a LITTLE believeable ? NOBODY.
I hope he has a match with Randy Orton. As for who else can beat The Rock. Orton, Lesnar, Cena and Taker all can.
I don't remember seeing that particular video but I am pleased to hear the idea is in Rock's mind as a possible big match for Mania. Hopefully a rematch with Cena is at the bottom after those other two matches.

I only want to see Rock vs Cena 2 if Cena is gonna turn heel, if not, then they can GTFO and give me one of the 2 options you mentioned. WWE would be UGH to give us Brock vs HHH 2 and Cena vs Rock 2 for the title with no heel turn.

I think Rock/Taker at this wrestlemania would be a great set up for taker's match at Wrestlemania 30, which would be his last and biggest match, and it would be against John Cena. Cena, who never got the chance to beat the Rock at wrestlemania, but has a chance not only to beat the guy who beat the rock at wrestlemania, but also end the streak. It would be huge, i think, but then again rock/taker as a match itself does not particularly interest me.
Still not sure about Rock's EC PPV status. I don't see why they would do something like that 4 weeks before WM. Rock in a chamber match is pointless due to lack of star power. If they want him wrestling between Rumble and WM, they can hype a big TV match for 3-4 weeks before WM with someone like Mysterio.
Rock talked about Lesnar/Taker as his future opponents a lot during WM weekend. Rock/Taker is a bigger match than Cena/Taker anyway, if they want to "save" something, which is stupid either way. They need to save this match. People don't realize that WM29 is a bigger show and PPV than WM30 because of the market the moment Dallas stadium wasn't an option. They need to go all out for this year more than next year. Rock against Lesnar/Taker at WM29/30 is definitely the way to book it.
BTW, I saw someone mentioning how this match feels bigger than WM28 or something. Not even close. The buzz, hype and anticipation for Rock/Cena WM28 was 3-4 levels above this Rumble match. It was one of the biggest events in the history of the industry. Nothing will likely come close to it for many years to come. Rock/Lesnar in New York with strong promotion can do it, but I don't expect this pitiful company to do it because they need Cena and HHH going over in scripted matches even if nobody cares about it.
Good scenario can be Rock going over at the Rumble, then Lesnar costing Rock the belt at EC. That way you gave the payoff of Rock as WWE champion AND can do Rock/Brock at WM29 without worrying about the title after the show. That of course is only if Rock is working EC. For the night after WM, if Rock plans to work in 2014, you can book Rock/Taker for the streak after Rock declares that he did everything besides challenging Taker at WM. It was important to keep Rock in the company in some way, which is why Rock did this:
If he's still in storyline after WM29, announcement of the match or at least a hint for the streak is the best way to do it. Maybe a Rock/Taker staredown. In the middle you can do Rock/Orton in the battle of the 3rd generation wrestlers at Summerslam or Rumble. But that's already based on the schedule.
