They used to book championship matches like that back in the AE. HHH would be facing someone at the PPV 6 days away and he'd be made to defend his title the RAW before the PPV.

they should do that more often for the WWE Championship, instead of just on PPVs, the winner would be obvious, but at least it will make the TV show more interesting.
Like Punk defending his title on Smackdown against Kane in the Summer, Sheamus defending against Ziggler & ADR on Smackdown in Summer, etc etc. Its not like they don't do it anymore, buts its very rare.
