There is a huge possibility The Rock wins at RR. Hell, it's almost guaranteed. I'm not really here to moan but I just don't think it's realistic for him to be on Raw weekly while he has to promote Pain and Gain and GI Joe 2. He's clearly going to miss some Raws and probably even Elimination Chamber. What's he gonna do, defend the belt on the set of GI Joe? It's not like The Rock will bring in bigger ratings with the belt because he probably won't be on the show often. I might be just paranoid but I don't see the point in Rock holding the belt if he's not full time. I understand this is a controversial topic but please, be mature.

Then what's the point of him holding the belt? Raw already sucks, if we have no belt for 3 and a half months Raw will be like 95' again. I appreciate The Rock's contributions, but I don't think him winning is a good idea. If I wanna see him as champ, I'll play him in WWE 13.

why are people just assuming Rock won't show up if he wins the belt? may I remind you that he did show up for 6 RAWs in a row during WM season earlier this year ?
I doubt Rock would have trouble committing to the show if he wins the belt

In your first post, I intentionally removed your little rant about "Randal" because I never made a comparison or anything. I was just clearing it up regarding the things Cena/Orton/Punk have each said about The Rock. And yes, Punk can have his moments too, but personally, I found him boring 95% of it. But again, that's subjective so there's no point discussing it.
As for Orton/Rock. You've got it wrong. In 2004, Rock's appearances were all rare and he had fully stopped being a full-timer. He made FIVE appearances in the entire year of 04 and only appeared twice for the WM20 tag match. I wouldn't say that's "working much more dates". Actually, he's made more appearances this year than in 04. Plus one of his post-WM appearances was actually in a segment with Orton. I'm sure they would have worked something out in form of a match had The Rock's contract been renewed for 2005. Besides, who's to say a match between them is not gonna happen at some point next year? Maybe Orton gets pushed again and they can work something out for SummerSlam. Because who else is there for The Rock to face from the roster? Cena, Punk and Orton are the top choices. (Bryan is an interesting choice but WWE clearly doesn't like him and always books him like a geek. Ryback is not ready for such a high profile match-up.) And if his "I'm never leaving again" comment is meant, I'm sure it means he'll return every now and then to have a few matches here and there.
To be completely honest though, Orton as a heel is pretty entertaining, I'd love to see him in a program with Ryback somewhere down the line.
