I saw someone just mention about THE SHIELD interfering in the match, it seems highly unlikely but I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility. Here's hoping for an Attitude Era finish with a hundred run-ins from THE SHIELD, THE RYBACK, BORK, UNDERTAKER, CENA, TRIPLE H, VINCE, SHANE, LINDA, and finally MICHAEL P.S. HAYES

I never considered this, but now i think about it, yeh I think there is a pretty good chance. The Shield have said that they will intervene whenever there is injustice, and I suppose The Rock doesn't deserve a title shot, so by that logic they will attack Rocky..

What I think will happen.

The Shield will intervene, but The Rock will be able to overpower them. The Rock will win the title off of Punk and retain it at Elimination chamber. CM Punk will then use his rematch clause to get a title shot at WM and win back his title at WM.

The Rumble winner will be someone after the Heavyweight Championship, as this will prevent a triple threat at WM.

Rock winning the WWE title would be the worst thing that could possibly happen. I'm praying to the Wrestling Gods that this doesn't happen.

yeah your first paragraph you wrote is another reason i think the shields interference is a large possibility.

If The Rock were to win the WWE title he MUST lose it at Wrestlemaina to the same champion he beat at the Royal Rumble.Rock winning the WWE title in the first place would piss me off,But if it keeps the fans happy I'm all for it but he MUST lose it at Wrestlemaina no matter what and fuck off for another decade.
