We honestly don't need to entertain the idea. He's in the match to take the pin. It wouldn't surprise me if they had some kind of screwy finish where Cena and Punk both cover Show and Punk wins by default.

I'm all saying is you have to wonder how many of those Raw he's going to be available. Everyone is penciling in Rocky winning at the Rumble and then facing Punk or Cena and something just doesn't add up. Can you have Elimination Chamber w/o the champ? Can you have your champ at no house shows? Missing 2 or 3 Raws during the build up?

I don't think you can.

I don't think anybody expects him to do house shows. He doesn't need to as long as he shows up for RAW. As for Elimination Chamber, we don't know what they have planned yet. It could be a rematch from his RR match or they could do some sort of tag match with him and his Wrestlemania opponent, like the did at Survivor Series last year. The closer we get to that time, the more we'll find out, I guess.

Rock/Big Show is not going to happen but it will do the biggest business besides Rock/Cena or Rock/Orton from the current roster. I still think they should do Rock/Cena at the Rumble and Rock/Brock at WM. Brock/Taker is a dead program after Lesnar lost his only two matches in almost a decade.

If both were full time and if Big Show was as dominant and in-shape as he was from 2003-Wrestlemania XX, then maybe I wouldn't mind it. But now? Hell NO. I'd refuse to watch that crap.

At last word, the plan was for WWE Champion CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Big Show to close Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view. There has been discussion of putting the title on Cena and doing Cena vs. The Rock at the Royal Rumble followed by Punk vs. Rock at WrestleMania 29. However, it's speculated that WWE will end up going with Cena vs. Rock II at WrestleMania.

speculation but this probably sounds more realistic than Cena vs Rock at Rumble & Rock vs Punk at Mania.

I could see Rock vs Big Show on a raw before Wrestlemania, it would be a nice draw of Raw. And Big Show/Rock are familiar with each other.
