Then he gets vince mcmahon to give Punk a rematch which Punk wins,then gives HHH a rematch which HHH wins, making trips a 15 time world champion. Vince does this 2 more times so HHH breaks the record and becomes a 17 time world champion and leads the WWE to the new golden era.

Punk really should drop the title to Rock. Why? What else does he do after beating Rock? Who else does he face? Orton? No thanks. Fella? No thanks. Everyone else he's beaten already. Let's not even discuss Taker because this forum would explode if Punk gets the streak. (I doubt Taker ever loses at Mania though)

Hypothetical: The Rock vs CM Punk at Royal Rumble

Most have The Rock pegged to win the belt. What if Lesnar interfered, cost The Rock the belt, and set up The Rock vs Brock at WM? That leaves CM Punk claiming he "won" and without an opponent and boom - lights go out, Tombstone from The Undertaker, as they feud about how if Punk wants "respect" he can earn it by ending The Streak. (Or at least having a good match with the GOAT)

Would people rather see this, or Rock win the belt, and drop it to Cena at WM?

I know I said in the "Who should Punk drop the title to?" thread that The Rock is the only person he should drop it to, but I've changed my mind. The more I think about it, the more I love the idea of longest title reign in 25 years vs. the streak. I would prefer Punk to go over Rock and face Undertaker at Wrestlemania, then see Rock take on Lesnar which would be just as great. That's one hell of a card. One thing I absolutely do not want to see is Rock/Cena II.

Punk/Taker for the belt doesn't work, Taker can't carry the strap.

If they could somehow still hold off doing Punk/Ryback again and build its momentum + add some star power like Mayweather and Stone Cold I'd happily take that as a WrestleMania Main Event if Ryback is up to it. Brock/Rock II and Cena/Taker I as the undercard would be epic overall.

B: Assuming Trips-Brock II

I like both options TBH ... A triple threat match means one of the "BIG SIX" not competing more than likely. We're headed for a BIG TIME triple main event @ Mania (not even including the WHC match)

I agree with you, I don't like triple threats, but I'm totally against of having Rock/Cena and HHH/Lesnar AGAIN! Two rematches would be a big let down for me. The road to WM would be so boring. I would preffer HHH doesn't wrestle at all and have this:

Taker vs Punk

and

Rock vs Lesnar vs Cena

Either of them would be for the title.
