Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
I'm very excited for the this match. In fact I'm afraid ROCK/PUNK at the Rumble will be better than WM29's Main Event.

The Cena feud sucked donkeys and was practically unwatchable for large periods.

We lived through the irritating Rock/Cena feud (it had it's good moments tbh) so I think we can handle Rock/Punk even with the name calling, movie talk, and tweets. At least Punk is a heel so the dynamic will be different.

I was so excited for Rock/Cena, despite all the bullshit, because I was going to see the match live and because no matter what, at the end of the day it was still The Rock vs. John Cena. This is just Rock vs. Punk though. It's a big match sure but not a BIG match like Rock/Cena. I just don't understand why they think people will want to see this crap. If they didn't for Rock/Cena then why the hell would they want to for Rock/Punk? Nothing worse than 2 guys serving their own egos and trying to act cool all the while failing and looking like spoiled whiny children. I really do detest this shit.

With that said, it'll be funny to see Philip become a popular name to call Punk just like Dwayne is with The Rock.

Probably catch it on YouTube as well as I'll be working around that time.
LOL Philip doesn't have the coolness of a Dwayne.

Really? Heel or not, it's just the same bullshit from the Cena feud. Don't forget, Cena wasn't all goody two shoes when they did their promos, he went into serious mode for most of the time imo until of course when Rock went serious.
:Rock3 - "I'm gonna rip your throat!"
 - starts randomly laughing.

I feel ya Starbuck, I want a wrestling character feud i.e. a WWE feud, not some movie star vs. WWE star feud.
GIVE US DA WOKKKKKKK!

Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
this shit is going to be hilarious, atleast instead of Cena's tactics of " I'll make fun of myself! Ha that way his jokes will be stupid, plus i'll hit him with the truth of im here all the time!"
both guy's should deliver great verbal battle's. Punk's a heel people he's not going to look for cheers.

Re: Official The Rock WWE Championship Discussion
I just think with Punk being heel he will play a better role being "punked out" by Rock's insults which is what Rock is best at. Look at Rock's interaction with The Miz (segments that happened after Raw), that is more of what I'd like to see. The characters working to tell a story together within the confines of their setting and not two real life personalities aka Dwayne & Phil going back and forth.

Miz and Rock segments being good doesn't surprise me considering Miz is pretty darn good on the mic. Yeah, if it's in character, the better. Don't see it happening though. Punks probably gonna go harder on this Dwayne thing than what Cena achieved, sadly.
