Okay, logic aside , who would you most like Rock to take on at Mania based on who is currently on the roster full-time / part-time , and assuming he can work the Rumble, Elimination Chamber (would be awesome) , and mania , how would you book him throughout ?

But none of this will happen and WWE are setting up for the most predictable WM card of all time. Rock/Cena II/ HHH/Brock

Rock/Cena II Brock/Trips is just so cheap on many levels. They have much better options.

The Way I would handle this would be the following

1. Cm Punk retains the WWE Championship at Survivor Series & TLC leading to him facing The Rock at Royal Rumble
2. Punk beats The Rock by cheating or getting himself DQ'ed
3. John Cena become the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania
4. The Rock states that Punk never really beats him and wants to be added to The match which he is making it a triple threat match.
5. John Cena pins The Rock to win the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania which gets him his win back plus gives CM Punk the ammo to say he was WWE Champion for nearly 17 months and was not beaten for it.

The only way Punk wins is by interference, there's just no way after all the wait and hype they bail out my having Punk get himself DQ'ed. Rock wrestles once or twice a year so you can't give the fans a shitty ending like that. Same goes for guys like Triple H, Lesnar etc. because they aren't around afterwards for the follow-up or to do a rematch therefore you have to have a definite resolution in their matches.

And I'll eat my hat if they put Punk over clean, I could maybe see it happening as a face but as a heel there's no chance

Royal Rumble: Beats Punk with the Sharpshooter to win the title.
Elimination Chamber: Defends it inside the six-man chamber match.
Wrestlemania XXIX: Beats Brock Lesnar to retain the title.
Extreme Rules: Loses WWE Title to John Cena who turns heel.
SummerSlam: Wrestles Randy Orton in a third gen vs third gen match.

Obviously fantasy and too good to be true.
