So how big a buyrate you think Rumble will do then? and might it affect WrestleMania with it being so close and for some fans a better pay off since he'll likely win the title here than lose it at WrestleMania.
Still weird to see Rock associated with wrestling again, even after almost 2 years from that iconic night in Anaheim. They need to promote Rock's title chase like it's the most important thing in the history of the company, show him talk about the belt, how much it means to him and his family for over 30 years. Show all his WWF title wins with a background in video packages. Show him in the gym preparing for the match etc. All the things that they should have done for Survivor Series last year. Not like I expect them to do something like that, they have no basic understanding on how you make a big deal out of something today. It can already be huge, like Rock wrestling for the belt after a decade, but they're too blind and stuck in their imaginary bubble to go the extra mile to promote and maximize it for all its worth(Creative genius - Billion Dollar Princess of Nepotism should be proud of that masterpiece booking of Cena vs Miz/Truth October 2011). Maybe Paul E can be involved in some way. Another reason to want Rock/Brock for WM29.
This commercial/package should be something special.

Really depends on what I mentioned above, if they hype it as Rock's chase and vision to be a champion again in the industry, with some real investment on promotion, they can do big business. One of the few Rumble PPVs that the Rumble is not the main attraction/selling point for the show. There were shows with matches that got equal or bigger promotion than the Rumble concept like 2008, 2002 and 1999. This is on another level, so their hype and presentation to Rock's WWE Championship match will be the real difference maker. I can still see Brock working the PPV, makes no sense to "save" him from the second biggest PPV of the year when he has at least 15 more dates to work. Maybe Lesnar/Orton/Cena/Ryback/Sheamus or in the Rumble match. In that case, you can do a blockbuster. Lesnar wins the Rumble, Rock wins the title, closing the PPV with intense Rock/Brock staredown with the WM29 logo in the background.

If Rock loses I will mark out the fuck out,I may mark out more than I did when Punk won the WWE title from Cena at MITB and man did I mark the fuck out back then.
Could just have only Rock on the poster, or if Punk is still champ, then both of them on it would make it look epic.

- There are big plans in place for The Rock going into early 2013 and the WrestleMania season. Besides the WWE Title match with CM Punk at the Royal Rumble, Rock is set to make more regular appearances and will be a focal point of the company. Most within WWE expect Rock to capture the WWE Title and end Punk's reign at the Rumble.
