i agree that they shouldn't make the Royal Rumble winner someone who's really new. That way they are basically forced to push him and keep him a star, without knowing how successful he will be. For example they're stuck with Del Rio right now, honestly no one cares about him but yet we have to witness a Del Rio squash every Monday Night Raw, its pathetic how hard they try to get him over/keep him relevant. Also the new winner ends up competing for the World title on Smackdown anyway, which has a trend of opening the show as of late, so that doesn't work out either. It needs to be someone who they are sure to push and who deserves to win it.

I REALLY hope they don't pull a 2011 where the winner is a new guy who has never been world champ. Alberto Del Rio winning that was an utter disgrace. I don't hate him, but I hate the idea of pushing someone to winning the Rumble when there's no telling whatsoever that said superstar will be a success with the crowd. And right now it's iffy if he even is.

All prior rumbles featured a winner who was seasoned and had a successful career going. In other words, a STAR needs to win Rumble. That means not Ryback. This is why even though I like guys like Barrett and Sandow, I don't really want to see either of them win either.

And it had better not be Cena. Screw this company if that dirtbag wins another.

As for my preference? It would've been Jericho, but he said on Twitter that it is doubtful he will be back in time. So, I want Punk to win. He can win the Rumble AND fight Rock for all I care. He's the best option and is easily the most deserving.

I miss the times when RR winners get to actually main event Wrestlemania, but now everything seems too "artificial" or starpower triumphs over wrestling. For example, the Rock who is a part-timer possibly main-eventing 3 WMs in a row (to me, he was part of the WM27 main event)!

Thats my fear aswell. I think this Rumble could potentially be the best Rumble PPV of all time. If they do it like this, in match order, then I reckon it could be a classic.

There'd be alot of big names in this Rumble match like Cena, Sheamus, Lesnar (maybe) Orton, Ryback, Barrett, Del Rio etc. Wouldnt mind who wins really, but I predict Cena or Ryback to win.

World Heavyweight Championship
Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler(c)
Bryan turns full face after Team Hell No, but with the same character. Gets opportunity for WHC at the Rumble against Dolph who cashes in MITB at either S.Series or TLC. This would be one hell of a main event and would steal the show, and IMO I think this match is really possible for this.
