Because Rock is still a huge star and he wont disappear with it for a year either. Rock knows that he has to be active more to be a champ. Hes not stupid. Thats all there is to it. Didn't know there was a rule that said the belt needs to stay with full timers anyway. It doesnt matter. Just kick back and roll with it.

the wwe took a big hit in ratings after the rock left and they still had austin, taker, kane, angle, hhh etc... this was in the spring off 2001 when the rock left to film the scorpion kings... just shows whos GOAT.

So do you guys think Cena pretty much confirmed another match with The Rock tonight in his pre-show interview? I'm not a religious person but if there is a God I pray he saves us from having to endure another Cena-Rock feud

I will take literally anthing over that. There are so many other great alternatives they could go with but it's starting to look to me like they are gonna waste the opportunity on another Cena match

There was some tweet or tout asking him who his toughest opponent was and he said Rock then basically challenged him to another match

Yeah, but we've known this for months.

The only way they were never going to do another match and feud was if they PPV buys did bad.

But they broke all the records.
