At the royal rumble, people say The Rock is gonna win the WWE Championship. As much as I love the Rock, if he's not a full time superstar, he doesn't deserve the WWE championship. Opinions?

Dwayne is a huge draw. he's like a 7 time champion or something. he's more credible than anyone they have on the roster to beat Punk. he's lucky Punk will be willing to put him over. b/c Punk is the GOAT, but Dwayne is the next best choice. way better than THE RYBACK, Cena, or whatever other geek they have on the roster.

I've never understood how the Rock can win it. Why would they give the top belt to a guy who will just disappear with it for a year? It doesn't make any sense. It needs to stay with full-timers.

Exactly. He can make one appearance and he'll still be better.

He's a mainstream star and putting the title on him will get WWE alot of mainstream coverage. That is more then likely what Vince is thinking. I think he deserves because he is bringing/Brought so much attention and money to the WWE the past 2 years.

How will it bring mainstream attention when your average casual fan will never see him with it?
