i've been thinking about this...Rock winning the WWE Championship. He HAS to be there every week till Wrestlemania, or most weeks anyway, i mean Raw without the WWE Champion or with the WWE Champion on satellite? just no. For Rock, thats really hard looking at his movie schedule. To me it makes me think Rock actually won't win at Royal Rumble.

What sense does it make anyway. They could use it to get Punk more over and hated than over by having him somehow beat Rock. Rock winning is stupid cause him ending a reign that has lasted for over a whole year is just sad, they can use it to put over new stars, someone like Rock ending it also doesn't make sense cause he makes only a few appearances in a year, the guy who makes a few appearances in a year ending the year-long title reign? Kinda stupid.

Punk will get a rematch if/when he loses to Rock at the Rumble, yes? Since Rock is 99% sure not to be working the Elimination Chamber PPV, what if Punk said he wanted his rematch at WrestleMania? Because if not, they're going to have to have Rock wrestling either on TV or a 'B' PPV.

That could work actually. Rock's movie schedule means he's going to be around even less on the Road to WrestleMania and since Brock only works limited dates, they could do what they did with Taker vs. HHH the first time and just have a load of staredowns since the match sells itself. Also leaves the WWE Title for guys who NEED IT in order for their match to be a big deal? The Title doesn't make a match with Rock any more of a big deal than it already is.

No, since The Rock is on a limited schedule, they wont waste him twice on Punk. And the rematch thing has been used and ignored whenever WWE sees fit. They'll just give him his rematch after Rock loses it post-Mania. They did it last year when ADR cashed in on him. Punk never got a rematch when Del Rio was champion but once his business was finished with HHH/Nash, he got thrown into the HIAC match that had Cena and Del Rio in it using the "rematch" clause.

There's no way Punk, having been Champion for so long, wouldn't get a rematch (kayfabe). It'd make zero sense.

I agree with this scenario if it happens. Many people think just because Rock is going for the title at Royal Rumble that he is going to win. Remember most people thought Cena was going to win at WM28 because he's WWE's current golden boy, or Lesnar was going to win at Extreme Rules because it was his first match back. WWE have no problems throwing us a swerve with the direction of these big matches.
