I can't imagine Rock and Ryback in a proper segment together for an extended period of time (like say the Rock/Cena back and forth on the go home show for WM 28).

Would be worse than what happened to MR. ASS unless Rock totally holds back and sells his presence.

Rock/Ryback could be Rock/Goldberg II. Although some fans still never accepted Goldberg, he was not "buried" even though The Rock made a joke out of him on the mic all the time. (That Gillberg segment is a fucking classic!)

Obviously Ryback would go heel for the match and become "Hollywood Ryback", he'd come to the ring wearing sunglasses and change his catchphrase to "FEED ME CAVIAR" etc.

Ryback isn't a big draw like Goldberg was yet and Punk/Rock will be better so The Rock can finally make phillip look like shit.

There's no way in the world that Rock is wasting one of his last matches with Ryback..they did what they did with Cena by trying to vilify him leading to the match, no doubt, but the Rock picks who he wants to wrestle. Period. He has no boss in the WWE.

Obviously the original plan is Rock/Punk. But with Cena's injury and Ryback's rise, plans change. If/When Ryback wins the title, and if it's 1-1 against Punk, he's winning it at HIAC. Then going to a strong run where he gets more over, they're going to go with the hottest attraction.

Rock/Ryback can be like Rock/Lesnar, not a lot of talking from Lesnar's side, and Rock just hyping and hyping the first confrontation between them. Two bulls against each other always creates the most interest. Either way, Rock is probably coming back to the special 20 years RAW, then there's only 2 shows until the Rumble PPV anyway.

Ryback is going to be big in a few years, don't see this as wasting a match TBH. It's not like you got a series of megastars waiting for a match anyway.
