I think we all know the end game for Punk will be RR against the Rock. Punk attacked him at 1000th, that is when the match was pretty much confirmed.
Punk has done loads of interviews since and he's pretty much said he'll be wrestling Rocky at RR, without actually saying it. Rock wears his shirt and (again) pretty much says the match is happening, (again) without actually saying it.
I think people are getting their knickers in a twist about HIAC. The money match is Punk Vs Rock and it wont change.
I think it's an interesting match because you wanna see the finish of the match.
As for Punk/Ryback just gonna quote what I said earlier:

On one side you have Punk who needs to win to keep his momentum and title reign going leading up until the Royal Rumble. If he loses and regains the title it is far far less interesting than if he goes uninterrupted.
On the other is RyBack, a new star in the making who is super over, but that is based on a winning streak. Losing this match will do him damage, but even more damage will be done if he wins and then loses the title to Punk later down the line.
Overall, Punk has to retain and RyBack's record has to be held as undefeated too. So maybe a no contest or something.
We will also have to see if Cena gets involved in some way.
Sadly a lot of fans seem willing to eat up the crap WWE serve them; hence Ryback being so over.
It's not even just fans, taste in general society has gone down. Ryback is the wrestling equivalent of Avatar, it looks good but there's zero substance.

I don't think anybody's questioning Rock/Punk happening, I know I'm not. My concern is that they break up Punk's reign for absolutely nothing just to give Ryback the WWE title on his resume and let him go undefeated for a little while longer until Punk wins the belt back at TLC or a future Raw in December/January.

Punk might pass out Cena's reigns. That is not a good thing in WWE's eyes.

I wouldn't put it past them but it's still wrong. The only saving grace is that WWE doesn't treat the title like they used to, so they might just say fuck it, it doesn't matter and keep it on Punk.

That said, I'm not even all that crazy about Ryback, I just prefer him to Punk.
You can have an opinion on individual wrestlers that's different to mine, I don't give a shit, but objectively that's a terrible card. I don't know about you, but I'm against WrestleMania matches where it literally DOESN'T matter who wins. Rock/Lesnar and Sheamus/Orton, to pick out two of them, the winners do not matter at ALL. You have one match where both guys are part timers who are leaving afterwards, and then in the other one, a world title match between two guys who have been handed EVERYTHING from day 1, they've accomplished everything, nobody gets over, nobody benefits, it's the same old shit nobody has any reason to care about. Then you have Cena vs Taker which should happen at WrestleMania 30, not WrestleMania 29, and should be Taker's last match ever, so that's a waste for this WrestleMania, then you have Ryback vs "whoever", and we don't know who that is, presumably Punk with that card, against a guy who hasn't proven that he can have a long match, or even proven that he knows more than 4 moves, and he's the champion going into the biggest show of the year. That's a disaster.
And quite frankly, the fact that we might end up with a WWE Champion who's never said more than one sentence is a hell of a damning indictment of what the fuck WWE is doing these days.

I don't think they'll have Punk lose at HIAC. I think the finish will be a cluster fuck and Punk will retain. Simple.
Find it funny that some people (Heel) not just a matter of a day ago was a fan of Ryback and has said many times he likes him, only a few hours later doesn't like him anymore and is having a go at people for liking him.
