My one reason to stay positive is that I'm sure Rock wouldn't want to come back to face a guy like Ryback and I'm sure he's wanted to work with Punk for a while and it's already been agreed that is what he'll do. The fact he's already working the angle on Twitter with Punk goes some way to proving that fact.

The issue then, if we know Punk will face Rock, is that it makes no sense for him to drop the Title before then. Punk going into the Rumble, having being Champion for well over a year, to face one of the all-time greats is one of the best 'money' matches they could do. To have Ryback beat him, only for Punk to win the Title back a month or two later, is ridiculous and something only an inept company would do.

I didn't watch Raw but Punk's decision came up on facebook so I know what happened. Hope Ryback becomes WWE Champion at HIAC then he continues to hold on to it at the Royal Rumble. There they can do the Lesnar-screwjob finish by having him attack The Rock which lets Ryback retain. Then it'll be Ryback vs whoever for the WWE Championship, Rock/Lesnar, Cena/Taker and Sheamus/Orton for the WHC. Should be perfect this way!
