I also just think an epic reign like Punk's deserves to end at WrestleMania. He's had the title this long so why not ride it out a bit longer and have the Champion FINALLY lose on the grandest stage of them all? Imagine the build-up promos!
CM punk is getting some intense heat right now even thou he's still insanly popular, and when Ryback hit him the crowd errupted. The feeling was intense. So I have to agree, Punk should lose it to a built up new star/face, not sure if people will like Ryback as the choice, but it is what it is. lol.

Punk should beat rock in a dirty finish a rumble, then ryback wins the rumble and beats punk at mania. This would put over both guys HUGE, making ryback a star and punk an even bigger star than he is now. Don't do punk/ryback before mania p, keep teasing it because it has potential to be a big money match.

Agreed. People won't like it but if you keep Punk as Champion till 'Mania and then have Ryback beat him then you have a major star on your hands. In fact, he could conceivably become THE guy in WWE if they do things right.
Exactly. He cold be the guy that beat the guy that beat the guy John Cena couldn't beat, lol. I think we shouldn't be so picky, any chance WWE gets at having a big star n their hands they should take, because it needs star power .
So if they go with Brock screwing Rock out of the title at the Rumble and they do indeed go with Punk/Ryback and Rock/Brock at Mania, that means Cena has to challenge The Streak this year? I would be fine with that but the only thing is the WWE Title match will probably be third on the card again as far as importance and that's if Triple H doesn't have a match too.

I don't really think it matters. Unless it goes on first it wouldn't undermine the importance of any of the three matches. Only problem is that might be too many big matches on oneppv, they have to save sme for later manias. Maybe Cena goes for the world title in a triple threat with taker, but then again. Can't see taker winning the title. Ahhhh, this s why I'm not on wwes creative team lol.
The streak match needs to go last if we get Cena or Brock going for it, it kills the drama of it for me when it goes on halfway through the show because you know there is no chance anybody is ending the streak in anything other than the main event
It doesn't matter if the streak match with Cena or Brock goes first or last, neither of them are ending it. I'll never in one point of the match ever think them two will end it. For the simple fact that neither need that moment. Now put Ryback in a match for the streak and it's a different story. He's a new young star and having that moment could really make him and turn him into WWE's next big megastar.
But don't worry guys, Michael Hayes has got this brahs.
The streak is not ending either way, main event or not, but this card can be the most predictable WM of all time if they go with Rock/Cena, Taker/Lesnar/HHH. Also, there's no reason to "save" matches, you don't know what is going to happen and all these guys aren't 25 right now with nothing to do. Some of them are injured, some of them are busy. If you have potential matches, you do them now, which is why Rock/Brock and Taker/Cena should happen at WM29.
Anyone remember that? Can't find the full SNL 2000 show.

Another great staredown was Rock/Brock before Summerslam, two intense bulls face to face always creates big interest. There was no physical interaction between them for the entire feud, just teaser after teaser along with the awesome training videos until 3 days before the PPV. From a former creative member, Heyman was part of that build up, if Rock/Brock happens at WM29, Heyman needs to do it again.

I agree that those two matches should headline this year's event. They will just have to be creative enough to figure out something to make the following year bigger. I say use what you have available to you to make the best show possible. WrestleMania 30 is going to get even more hype just for being number 30 anyway just like 20 and 25. I don't think they will run out of big match options if Rock/Brock and Taker/Cena are used this year. If Austin is healthy enough and agrees to work one more program, that could be huge for WM30.
