It was never explained ... all he said was he spoke with the higher ups and hes getting a title shot... now im a rock fan to my core .. and i understand hes the rock and its gonna draw a NUMBER... but hes won 1 singles match in nearly a decade... im not complaining.. him vs punk or cena or whoever for the belt is going to be great... i just think its un-earned... i would have liked it more if he said.. "i lost my belt to brock at summerslam.. i never got my rematch.. and since i won on the biggest stage of them all WM 29.. i was granted my rematch .. vs whoever the hell has my belt...

Well it's pretty simple. He won the main event of WM 28. He SHOULD of gotten a title shot at the next PPV if this was all on credible booking but it's not. It's about scheduling and a storyline that has the Rock in pursuit of the belt heading into Mania 29.

well i think beating John Cena kind of makes you worth challenging for the WWE Title. Anyway, it will obviously be part of the build up to the Title match, with Punk or Cena going ''And what the hell makes you think you can just come back whenever you want and get a titleshot?"

you know when you win the RR you "keyfabe" main event Wrestlemania ? well it's a reverse situation now, Rock won the main event of Wrestlemania so he gets to main event the Royal Rumble
