Is the increase of PPV buys really worth devaluing the belt. Or is this punk vs cena feud wwe's way of doing the footwork required? From what I understand there's meant to be a "Line" you work your way up, if you win you're the top dog if you lose, you get another shot at becoming the #1 contender you lose that you go to the back of the line.

I still think this formula can work but WWE has so little integrity left in their product Whats the point.

Cena and Punk ARE having too many matches. In the past year and a half, they'd have gone at it 5 times (counting RAW's and PPV's) and will go at it for the 6th time at the next PPV. You keep you're 2 big stars a part as much as you can. It makes it more meaningful when they meet.

Best feud of this era was Cena vs Edge, Punk and Cena is only the best we have had since then and its more like Shawn vs Bret then Rock vs Austin.

Next up Jim Duggan wants a shot at the belt and it's granted. This is all so we can have rock vs cena II anyway when the hell does the title come into it? You can't tell me that when it comes down to rock vs cena II its ACTUALLY gonna be made about the belt... That will just be a throwaway stipulation in a match that shouldn't really happen again. After seeing them talk shit on each other for a year all of a sudden it's all about Rock having the gold that Cena wants? Captivating stuff.

This post may sound butthurt but I think WWE needs to stop relying on Legends for their product and have faith/develop the younger roster they have. People go on about how bad the roster is, the roster is what they make it and creative just goes through the motions.

It's not like they've been continually wrestling each other since MITB 2011 though. They have both have other feuds between then and now. The great advantage Rock and Austin had was the other big names they could compete against when they weren't at each other's throats, like HHH, Undertaker, Angle, Kane, even Big Show. Those people are now either gone or don't have the same status they once did, and they haven't been adequately replaced. Cena vs Big Show in 2012 is boring, so is Cena vs Kane.
