LOL@Green Light's sig, I don't even remember who this kid is TBH.
Anyway, 13 years ago today. RAW Is WAR, arguably the most memorable segment in wrestling history happened and a special moment with The Rock and Mick Foley just going out there in front of the live audience to have fun for almost 30 minutes on live TV. This is Your Life, a concept that a lot of people want to take credit for his massive success, it was a combination of Rock, Foley and Russo doing an innovative, first time ever segment in a wrestling environment.
The Rock and Sock connection made history that night with a record breaking audience. WWE tried to recreate the magic twice after that, including Rock doing the same segment for Foley as the go home segment for WM20. That was also the first tag match(Rock/Sock/Evolution)to be the selling point of a WM since WM1 and also the last.

His gimmick would be to go out every week and talk about The Rock and how great he is. Ratings, PPV numbers, etc etc. 20 minute promo every time.
He does this all year and then Rock comes back and puts him down.
Rock Vs Rock316AE - WM 29 - 1.7M BUYS.
Money angle, and I'm doing a clean job y

There's still hope for that(Rock/Brock), things like that are changing in one conversation. Floyd is a major factor if he's actually working the PPV, I still say that Floyd with HHH in his corner against Brock is the best way to book it, the buzz for Mayweather/Lesnar will be astronomical. And if it's a combination of Rock/Brock/Floyd, it can be the biggest match of all time, not only from the material today.

I completely agree with this. They can finish off the saga between Rock and Cena, close the chapter to Lesnar and Undertaker, and then put together Lesnar/Rock and Cena/Undertaker for WM30.
And if they can resign Lesnar to another year, despite inevitably losing to Taker at WM29, they can easily build him up for the match with Rock at WM30. He can go over Cena at, say Summerslam or Survivor Series 2013, they can feed him Orton at another pay-per-view, perhaps (although Orton may very well be heel by early 2013 anyway).
So the two-year plan could be something like...
WM29:
Cena/Rock II for the WWE Championship
Lesnar/Taker for the Streak
Punk/Triple H
Sheamus/Orton for the WHC
Mysterio and Sin Cara winning the Tag Team Championships
Now that DesolationRow puts in that perspective. I had a quick thought. I would love CM Punk(c)VS John Cena VS The Rock. Simple setup. Have the whole "Instant Replay" storyline culminate at RR2013. Have Rock and the ref down, Punk who can't beat Rock grabs a chair, Cena runs out, AAs Punk, Rock hits a finisher and wins. On the replay, we see the DQ due to the AA, Punk retains. Cena gets shat on by the WWE world entirely. Entirely. Rock is granted a rematch at WrestleMania because he was screwed out of the title. Cena wins contendership at EC. Cena turns heel to win(pinning Rock) as he feels people have turned their backs on him.
No chance Cena turns heel yet, gunna have to wait a few years for that. Wouldn't mind a triple threat at Mania, but only if Punk (or Rock unlikely) won.
Agree with TRS, I'd pay hard earned for Rock316 vs Rock, would do huge numbers. :Rock2
Oh and Rock n Sock most entertaining team in wrestling history y
this is one of the beats where listening to the instrumental is enough , just like Dre Day

Rock/Foley have the best mic chemistry I've ever seen.
