WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Planning and excitement thread for atendees! 7 days away!

Alright everyone -

The day after WM27 last year, we started this thread in reference to the just-passed WM28. So, let's do it all again and start our road to WM29 right now! Money allowing, I'd freaking love to head to NYC next year. Who's going?!?!

Just left wrestlecon, was awesome since ive never been so close to any wrestlers. Took pics with Kurt Angle, Iron Sheik and Colt Cobana plus also this local wrestler called Candy Cartwright :yum:

Cobana was easily the coolest person there though, his sign was just written with markers and he posed with me :lol.

If anyone was there I was the only person.with Solaire on my back Praise the Sun

Well, just came back from the 8am - 12pm Axxess for the first time. Great fun.

Pros and Highlights:

* NXT Matches.
* Jericho answering hilarious questions in the ring. :lmao
* Laughing at people singing Cena's theme in a singing booth.
* Seeing Lita and seeing Cameron and Naomi's asses. Which are HUGE. :D
* Meeting Billy Gunn and JBL.
* Seeing past Wrestlemania costumes.
* Jericho insulting Miz.
* And a few more things.
* Paige jumping in a fruity pebble ring. :D

Cons and dissapointments:

* No Undertaker graveyard.
* Wasn't in a convention center.
* To many obese people. *shudders*.
* Barely anyone got to meet Lita. A TON of guys were waiting in line and then it finished and we
got cut off. Everybody was pissed to hell.
* Lines were too long, can't help it obviously, but it DID suck.

Overall, very fun for first show. I might go again next year and get a VIP signing.
I was also confused as to why WWE didn't release a superstar line up before the event months ago.
I checked everyone.

Very fun experience. Can't wait for the HOF in a few hours!

Anyone else here with Suite tickets for WM, or am I the only one?

I assume that me and my two brothers will be sharing the suite (and private restroom) with 15 other random fans. Just got the email that they won't be providing the food and wet bar that they normally do during Jets/Giants games. I will however enter through some outside VIP entrance, be covered from any inclimate weather (outdoor seating, just covered), and have easy access to the Chase Club for an "upscale concessions environment including a full service bar".

Sounds like it'll be worth the $400 ticket cost. Suite is located between the 200 and 300 level.

Is anyone here staying in secaucus and relying on public transport or taxis to get back from Metlife and/or Izod? Im seriously concerned about having difficulties in getting a cab. Does anyone know if secaucus junction station will have taxis waiting at that time of night?

What's the prob exactly? There's a shuttle from MetLife to Secaucus station. Then you can take a train to Penn Station from there. And it your worried about the shuttles if you don't have a package, stop worrying. Because they haven't checked once. And if none of that works for you I'm sure there will be plenty of cabs.

New member here and hopefully someone could help me out with info

I'm going with my father to the event and he currently has a bit of a leg injury where too much walking can give him some issues. The website states to look on your ticket for what gate to enter but I see nothing on my ticket telling me which gate to enter. I want to try and get him parking as close as possible to our seats so he wouldn't be walking too much.

I am in section 110 F and just trying to figure out the best way to help out my father get to his seat without much hassle and not too much of a hassle when leaving the venue as well.

Thanks in advance for any responses

lol I dont have the best seats in the house, but since they are free, I am not going to complain at all! I think ill at least see the ring from here

high 200 section, but not 300 level.. Basically right in the middle of those 2 giant screens you see.. but from the direction of the picture. I was very happy I am not on the stage side. At least I know I wont be blocked by a big empire state building

" Sunday, April 7- Coach USA 351 Express buses to the event will begin loading at 3:30 pm from Gate 207 at the Port Authority and will run continuously from the Port Authority until 8:30 pm. The last bus will leave the Met Life Stadium 30 minutes after the event ends."

Be careful with that. Might take a while to get out of the stadium. Id save some cab fare just incase . :D
