I'm hoping to go next year, considering NY/NJ is still a fun city to be in. Looking at getting a travel package this next year, as it seems to be a good idea for good seats and less of a hassle. What is everyone else thinking?

RAW and The Hall Of Fame just HAVE to be in MSG. It'd be insulting if they didn't while having a Mania in that area. Moreover, I'll be there for next year, and it's honestly been one of my dreams to watch a show at Madison Square Garden live.

Can you imagine the Hall Of Fame being there? The HOF is emotional each an every year but being at MSG will be a whole different other level.

I went this year from England, and spent about 2500 altogether. Booked everything seperately

But i found Miami quite expensive, and i was out drinking until about 4am most nights

I thought 28 would be my one and only mania, but i enjoyed it so much im thinking about going to 29

Thinking about getting a travel package but will wait until nearer the time they are released, and see where everything is going to be

Enjoyed HOF, but it dragged on a bit much for me, so i might skip that next year, unless its a huge name like Taker or Rock

I might go. I'm not decided on it yet however.

I'd love to go to Mania next year but I'm a student so I'm totally broke quite a bit, certainly no money for stuff like this. One day though, one day...

RAW/HOF will be in MSG and (incase you're into it) ROH will most likely be in the Manhattan Center, and DGUSA will be somewhere in NY. Obviously this could change but that is the way it seems to be playing out as of now, especially with the Mania TV spot focusing on NY more than Jersey.
I don't know where you get your information from, but most, if not all of the WWE revenue producing events will be held in Jersey. If you aren't aware, WrestleMania is basically sold to a specific area as a "package" deal. Jersey finalized the deal to bring Mania in next year. New York may play some minor part in the weekend and possibly even host the Raw or Smackdown event following Mania but my guess is Axxess, HOF, WrestleMania, and Raw will all be held in Jersey. That ensures that the hotels, restaurants, stores, workers, cab drivers, etc. in Jersey will reap the revenue benefits of bringing Mania in for the whole week. It would defeat the purpose of the weekend by having events spread throughout 2 different states. While logistically NJ and NY are very close together and easy to get to and from, Jersey got the deal done and it only makes sense that everything will take place within that state's limits. I guess time will tell but I wouldn't count on any of the major WrestleMania activities to take place in NY.

WrestleMania is one of those things that when I'm grown up and god-willing, have a stable home, family, and source of income, something that I'm going to go to every year. Waste of money? Nope. Definitely worth it.

A couple of friends went on a travel package to WrestleMania 25, and as HORRID as the show itself was, they came out of there saying it was the greatest 4 days of their lives.

Actually, if you look at the picture, it says both NJ AND NY. Must have stuck up a joint production. Definitely holding at least one of the RAW's following Mania or Hall Of Fame at MSG if not both. Would be foolish to advertise New York for Mania 29 if they don't go on to that area.

Id bet you anything that AXXES is at the Javits Center in Manhattan. Raw or Smackdown will be at IZOD or Prudential. I think they do Hall of Fame and Raw at MSG. Knicks and Rangers are in the prime part of their schedule then but just give one of them a Sunday home game.

NJ gets the main show obviously but theyre going to go to Manhattan any chance they get. Raw at MSG would be a ridiculous crowd.

My guess is the WWE is just capitalizing on the "NY" name. After all, the New York Jets and the New York Giants both play homes games in East Rutherford, New Jersey at MetLife Stadium. So again, if you're counting on any of the events being held in NY I think you're going to be higly dissapointed. As far as I know, New Jersey "bought" Mania next year. It was not a joint effort with NY. Also on the topic of events being held at MSG. MSG is typically very busy during the month of April. You have a possibility of games from the New York Rangers, New York Knicks, as well as multiple concerts. I'm not saying it's entirely possible to find a free day in there, but I think it's unlikely for HOF. My belief is that Met Life Stadium and the Izod Center will be the main focal points of the week's events.
