WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Planning and excitement thread for atendees! 7 days away!

Alright everyone -

The day after WM27 last year, we started this thread in reference to the just-passed WM28. So, let's do it all again and start our road to WM29 right now! Money allowing, I'd freaking love to head to NYC next year. Who's going?!?!

Bon Jovi has Metlife booked 2 nights in a row in late July. I know that is not really news that matters but man that band has had some longevity.

Can't wait! It's going to be my first Wrestlemania, and my friends and I live in NYC, so we won't have to worry about parking and take the train. We're going to be in section 123, which I noticed is a corner, but I'm going to be optimistic here and say we'll have a decent view.

Just a Metlife Stadium related question here- Are there going to be food trucks outside the stadium? I imagine they'll be cheaper than inside. Also, what would be a good time to get there and is there usually stuff that goes on before the preshow in the stadium?

Changed my sig pic to one I took last year right after Rock beat Cena!

Anyway, the excitement is getting to me, so I'm gonna go ahead and outline how my week is looking.

I'm flying out of Orlando on Saturday morning and leaving New York on Tuesday afternoon.

Unfortunately, the only roadblock facing me from now until WrestleMania is class, which starts back up this Tuesday. Fortunately, I'm studying abroad in Honduras this Summer and have to go and get my shots at some point this week, so I'm booking that for Friday, which will give me an excused out from class, giving me a nice, short week, and some much needed sleeping time, as I have to leave for the airport on Saturday morning at 3AM. My flight is at 5AM

I'm staying at the Times Square Double Tree - anybody else staying there?

I'm spending the Saturday sightseeing and touring New York with the family, and leaving the group at around 6:30PM to head up to MSG for the Hall of Fame.

Sunday, I'll be up early to get to IZOD for the 8AM Axxess session, grab some lunch at around 12:30 when that gets out, and then I'll head over to Metlife to meet up with other fans at the gates. Anybody else getting there early and wanna meet up?

Monday's also gonna be full of sightseeing - might head over to the Empire State building. Then it's time to head back over to IZOD for Monday Night RAW, before leaving back home to Orlando on Tuesday at 1PM

Holy crap I'm excited...

Hi, two-time WrestleMania attendee here. I've been planning on going since packages went on sale last year. I figured on doing it big if I was really gonna go through with it. Bought the VIP package for two people. Person I had in mind to go with me had to cancel. So I'm stuck with an extra package. As of today, I don't have anyone claiming it. Is it crazy for me to offer it to someone on here with only one week to go?

so i'll be going by myself to several events during this amazing weekend. It's perfectly fine. I've done this several times. all my friends and family have a hatred against wrestling that I really don't understand. i'm comfortable going to all these events alone except axxess. I might feel weird walking around by myself and trying to take pictures of myself. is anybody else going solo to the sunday 1230 axxess session? wanna hang out? ill have plenty of beer in my car for the wait between axxess and mania

I'm going solo as well. I live in NY so it's not too bad. Take the train to the HOF from Queens. Bus at Port Authority to WM and RAW.

It's not dont worry about it . . Ill be going solo. . . Travelling to NYC with my wife . . But all events I will be solo?. Already been chatting to a few guys on here and planning meeting up and traveling to events with them.....

There will be loads, well thousands of people for you to talk to and once in the stadium it's all good

I'll be meeting up with about 12 of my friends at one of their houses about 40 minutes North of MetLife. We will then drive down early Sunday to tailgate all day then head into the stadium around 6pm. We will have burgers, hot dogs, chicken, sausage, and tons of beverages.

I'm bringing my iPod with about 250 WWE entrance themes on it. Will listen to that all day.

Damn, wish I was going. All over Wrestlemania XXX, though.

Safe travels to all those who are going, I hope you all have an awesome time being there in person! I'm sure you will!
