WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Planning and excitement thread for atendees! 7 days away!
Alright everyone -
The day after WM27 last year, we started this thread in reference to the just-passed WM28. So, let's do it all again and start our road to WM29 right now! Money allowing, I'd freaking love to head to NYC next year. Who's going?!?!
So Ukers who are going, when do you reckon the best time to book flights are? i have the money now, my friend doesnt really though so i wondered whether any of you have seen a pattern for cheaper flights, or know when the flight sales happen!! I literally cannot wait to get my package in July, it will seem more real to me then!
I have the money and I could have gone to WM 28 too. but i wasn't able to. I live in pakistan, and to go to america we need to apply for a visa 3-4 months before. which completely sucks. and then it depends if america accepts the visa or not.
all european countries and all the rich ones are lucky, they can go to any country just sit in the fucking plane and go
Hey guys pretty new here and just have a few questions for whoever can help. I hopefully will be able to attend my first Wrestlemania and I made sure to read through the rest of the thread to try and find answers to similar questions, but I still have a few.
1) I live pretty close to Metlife stadium and wanted to attend Wrestlemania and Axxess, but not as interested in Raw or hof because things might get too pricey. Is it possible to buy tickets just for those two events? I'm pretty sure it is, but just wanted to check. Also, I assume this would mean having to wait til around November.
2) Would doing so decrease my chances of getting decent seats for the Wrestlemania? I'm trying to go as a group so I have to keep prices in mind as Im pretty sure i'll be the one buying the tickets.
Thanks a lot guys (Y) Hope it wasn't too much of a bother
The packages that they offer, do they include flight and hotel? or do you have to book them separately for yourself?
I more than likely will be going next year, im 19 and I think my family will be on holiday in new york around then so could go with and drag my dad to mania!
Either that or I might be going with my mate who's into wrestling too, just trying to gather some details. The packages too is it just one payment or can u spread the costs?
Would you get a decent package for about $1000 or would that be shite? maybe more like $1500? I'm not that arsed about HOF....mainly just mania hotel fan axxess
There actually not even that dear...and people are saying the ones for WM29 will be cheaper? did anyone on here get a silver one for this year? how was it? anyone else get a gold? how was that? any major difference?
Looking at the gold one on that link and it said you guys got Seating within floor level – direct central risers, what does it mean direct central risers?
Central risers are the area between the section of floor seats, and where the stadium tiers start. I got the gold on the first day of sale last year and managed to get front row on the risers, the seats were incredible
The only difference in the two is the seating, so you need to decide how important that is. We went Silver package the first year and although the picture was good, you find yourself looking at the big screens alot to see all the action, whereas Gold you can see whats happening. You also get abit better seats at HOF but that really doesnt matter as the arena is always fairly small
I don't know. I went to 27. Had a great time with the experience but the event itself was a let down. WM 29 has the potential to be great. Assuming Punk and Bryan both carry momentum, and then we throw in Brock Lesnar, Cena, and maybe even The Rock, the card could be stacked. Even so its impossible to predict what things will be like come WM because you have to buy tickets so early.
Any updates on that business a while back about New York and New Jersey "sharing" the events? It would be nice to know where things like the Hall of Fame and Raw are going to be held... Also, in what vicinity the hotel will be.
I'm hoping that they announce some more details about tickets for Wrestlemania at No Way Out since NWO will be taking place across the parking lot from the Izod Center.
As much i loved the Silver package for WM28 it looks like i'm buying everything seperate for WM29, will probably work out cheaper but it's a lot more stressful.
That through choice or due to finances mate? Im abit stuck, I have just about enough saved for a Gold package IF i can go with others but looks like the guys from this year are either not able to go or with a couple of them they are going with their missus. Without a group i am miles away from having the money to go
If you do it individually, how much would it work out? Mania ticket is what, $250? Couple of Axxess at about $40 each, HOF $60ish? Then the main thing is the hotel. I really dont know if they will base it all in NY, i originally thought they would but i think it will be alot more NJ based so prices could be alot better because for a decent NY hotel for 5 nights will be about $800
Mainly through money to be honest, i'm going to Mexico in a few weeks so that's pretty much emptied my bank account.
I know a few people online have rented condo's with people as it works out A LOT cheaper than hotels so i think that's what i'm looking at doing in NY/NJ. I was going to speak to you about it in a few weeks anyway to see if you're up for it? Could work out like $30/40 a night depending on how many people we get in the condo.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
