Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

Just bought my tickets maybe 30 minutes ago. 5 tickets for 75. Was 455 all together. So excited to go, been to a couple ppvs Night of Champions most recently but Mania is a whole different beast. Ordered over the phone so dont know where the section is located in the stadium but she said they were good seats. Will get the tickets in 10 to 12 business days.

Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

Just ordered my tickets. Flying from the UK to Newark airport. Section 127. Look like decent enough seats.

Any advice on how to get to the stadium, also how would i get into Manhattan to go sight seeing etc?

Thanks

My first time actually having a look at the prices and what you get for them. WWE are having a fucking joke this time around. Are you fucking kidding me with this shit? Bastards lol. By the time 31 comes along they'll be asking $500 to sit in the nosebleeds!

This depends a fair bit on where you're staying and what you want to do in terms of wrestling/ sightseeing.

I've been researching this as well, Taxis seem efficient but expensive. Trains are more complicated but work out much cheaper. Either way, I'd leave plenty of time to get to your destination due to traffic/ train confusion. I'm flying to Newark as well, and you can get a train to Times Square and the surrounding areas for around $12

I've also been told there will also be loads of coaches going to the stadium on WM day, but I haven't researched that as much.

The hotel is 2 miles from Newark airport, called the Wyndham Garden. I get there at noon on the saturday, so going to try and get straight into New York and just walk around sight seeing until the Hall Of Fame starts at MSG(hopefully i get tickets).

I have no idea how to get back to the hotel afterwards, I will have to look into that. Probably just take the hit and pay for a taxi.

On the Sunday I am looking to do some shopping and then get to the Met Life fairly early.

The Monday and Tuesday I have all day so not even sure, probably try and train at Renzo Gracies BJJ school in Brooklyn if they let me.

I really want to visit Ground Zero, Statue Of Liberty and other iconic places, eat loads of fatty unhealthy goodness too.

Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

I hate leaving buying in someone else's hands, tbh. Especially seeing these ticket prices, watch how I end up in the nosebleeds

(seriously though, first time looking at ticket prices and they're kinda ridiculous lol)

Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

Yeah, thought they'd go up from WM28 but not by this much, prob why there was no price breakdown until they went on sale, I'll be hiding my credit card bill for the next few months lol
