WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Planning and excitement thread for atendees! 7 days away!

Alright everyone -

The day after WM27 last year, we started this thread in reference to the just-passed WM28. So, let's do it all again and start our road to WM29 right now! Money allowing, I'd freaking love to head to NYC next year. Who's going?!?!

Just decided to look for tickets for the Raw following Mania and there are some pretty cheap tickets available and also looked and there a good amount still left for the HoF so now I gotta decide if HoF would be worth attending and if I should spend 1 more day down in Jersey.

All my tickets have arrived except VIP Axxess. Anyone get there's yet? I thought they said they would be printed in mid-February.

So glad i didn't buy tickets, why the hell should i pay all that money on a pathetic card ?

Trying to keep a positive attitude about what the main events part of the card seems likely to be. Looking forward more to just hanging out in New York for a few days and then Wrestlecon on Saturday. For the people saying "who cares about the card? It's Wrestlemania and there's no feeling like it live," I agree and disagree. It's true that it's a spectacle and just being there is a feeling that will be an amazing and enjoyable experience. But for the amount of money I've invested (which isn't nearly as much as some members on this forum), I'm hoping I don't look back after and regret it. I went last year and had no idea who was going to win basically any match, except Punk/Y2J. I was on the edge of my seat or on my feet jumping and screaming all night. I'm fearful this year might be just as predictable as the Rumble was last month, which disappointed me greatly, not because of who won the matches but because I knew exactly how it was going to turn out. And I watched that for free online from my couch. If there turns out to be no surprises this year I might end up feeling disappointed. I certainly won't walk into Metlife that Sunday angry though, like others seem to have decided to do. So to my wrestling friends here who are already wiping their butts with this years Wrestlemania, keep your heads up. If you think positive it will end up being better. It's still New York, still one of the biggest events in the world. And if you still hate it after it's over, then there's always next year.

I would be excited for Wrestlemania weekend even if I wasn't going to Mania. 5 indy shows in 2 days, hanging out with my brother, sister, and best friends all weekend, and going to the Raw after Mania after missing it despite going to the last 2 Manias are enough to make this an awesome weekend.

And it's not like I'm going to have a bad time at Wrestlemania. I have enough faith in WWE that they will make this event special. Not so much for any other event but I think they can make sure Wrestlemania has at least one really amazing match.

I'm hyped regardless of the card. Sure I have certain matches I'd like to see/not to see but at this point I've kinda grown out of the whining about WWE stage. It's just entertainment and I'm certain I'll be entertained with great seats at my first Wrestlemania in the best city ever.

Thread really slowed down now that all the tickets have gone on sale. Thought I'd post my seat location and views.

Wrestlemania: Section 110
This is going to be my view at Wrestlemania according to seathound:

Another photo. This one is taken from row 5 seat 1. I'm a row lower and the last seat in the row, so I'll be a tinge bit more centered. It's also an aisle seat, so I can come and go as I please without bothering one.

Hall of Fame: Section 211

Right in the center. Too bad the stage is off to the side for this event.

VIP Axxess: Going to meet the Heart Break Kid. This guy:

:hbk:hbk2

RAW: Section 107. First row!

Couldn't find any seat view for my sections unfortunately.

Side note: I need a seat buddy for RAW. $300 for the privilege of sitting next to me for 3+ hours. :cena4 But seriously, I'd really like to sit in the first row. If I can't find a seat buddy I'll have to sell the pair online and sit somewhere else (I have back up tickets). $300 is the face value (technically it's $300.02), so not looking to make a profit on this.

We are really close, I'm 109 row 3, but the further left aisle seat, so the seat to my left is 110 seat 1!

Those were close to the seats I had on the ticketmaster site during the pre-sale until my cousin told me his card was maxed out and we couldn't go this year.

Hopefully I can get something around that for WM30. Look like great seats.

Feel sorry for those who paid that much only for the show to end to a chorus of boos and cena standing tall with the title

I bought tickets the day they went on sale. section 128. I was pumped, first Wrestlemania ever for me. So about 3 weeks ago I accepted a job offer down in Orlando, Florida. I thought about just flying up for the event, but airfare that weekend inflated up to about $400 round trip (its usually somewhere from $150-$225). So in the end, I had to sell it. Pretty bummed, so I guess my only option is to wait until they come back down here to florida:frustrate
