Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

I know Rangers are away, but if other things were being held at MSG, wouldn't it say? I mean, it stated where everything would be last year, whereas this year there's no info on it.

Is this totally legit? I don't use FB much so I don't know if it's proper.

Nevermind, it's on WWE.com

Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

The thing is, WWE isn't like UFC or Boxing. They have trouble selling out fucking SmackDown! shows where the tickets are $50. $8000? Forget about it. People will book everything separately. Bank on it.

Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

If WM29 was in a smaller arena, it might make sense to have these packages around the price. Because it's at an outdoor arena with 80,000+ other fans, it just doesn't make sense. From a business standpoint, Vince knows that there's some rich marks out there that will purchase, but sucks for the rest of us. I, like many others, will be buying separately.

To be fair, the Gold package is still affordable, as is the Silver. Platinum maybe, maybe not. I'll have to confirm with my mate, but buying seperately is definitely an option.

I'm talking only WM obviously. Not comparing WWE to UFC/Boxing, not even in the same world today. But if people not only bought at last year's price, but did it in RECORD PACE, they're also going to sell this year easily(Maybe not in record time because last year they had a mega dream, rare main event already booked), especially in New York where the audience is still somewhat passionate.

Re: Wrestlemania travel packages

Im also really interested in attending WM29. I am pretty sure my girlfriend/mates won't be up for spending so much money so I will prob be going solo. It would be good if we could arrange some sort of group to get discounts on the packages?

The problem for me with the packages is I'm waiting until the start of October before I would have enough money and would worry that it would be sold out by then. Then again maybe building my own package would work out much cheaper?

Buy everything separately if you want to save money. The general sale will most likely be around November so you should be fine.

Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

EDIT: You know what. Nevermind. There's obviously only a small limit to the number of VIP Packages available. I'm sure over the hundreds of millions of people watching WWE around the world, there has to be a few that would be willing to pay for that package. Not as far fetched as I thought, and a crazy insane yet smart way to market to the extreme die hards who have lots of money.

Still, 8 grand is fucking insane though. What stop people from buying just a regular Silva/Gold/Platinum package?

Re: WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Anyone planning on going??

Time to start kissing my Fairview, New Jersey friend's ass...

If they had the option to decline Axxess tickets, that would be quite appealing. But they don't and the overall price increase every year is starting to sting, never mind the ludicrous VIP Package price... :lmfao

I'm thinking this year I'll be buying the Hall of Fame, Wrestlemania and Raw separately.
