Record for Metlife, yes. For WWE, likely not. Bear in mind that WWE used to send its wrestlers out from a small, narrow entranceway, with no giant monuments, metal structures or HD screens. That alone cuts attendance down by a good 3-5,000. (Though that number is an estimate.)
Yea they usually do the day before or day of. Good news to hear though.
just for kicks, last year the day before wrestlemania, i checked out ticketmaster to see if they had any tix left, and to my surprise they had some decent seats still available, i keep checking every 2 weeks to see if any more become available. I'm glad i got my ticket on the presale.
PS- If anybody has an extra ticket for Raw the following night at IZOD, PM me i might be interested in buying one
Is mania sold out yet? I hope we don't see a shitload of empty seats like last year. To me it just looks bad.
There weren't a shit load of empty seats last year. When the show started the place was packed. People that had an obstructed view moved away from their seats to find a spot with a better view but that had nothing to do with ticket sales. I was there last year and I had a few that allowed me to see virtually the entire stadium and the the place was packed.
