WRESTLEMANIA 29 - Planning and excitement thread for atendees! 7 days away!

Alright everyone -

The day after WM27 last year, we started this thread in reference to the just-passed WM28. So, let's do it all again and start our road to WM29 right now! Money allowing, I'd freaking love to head to NYC next year. Who's going?!?!

I know this is a slight thread hijacking but Brye sort of opened the door to it: Any fresh rumors on Wrestlemania 30's location?

That's driving distance if you're from where your location says you're from. Montreal would be kind of cool. I've never been to Canada and I'll probably be living closer to the Albany area for WM 30, which is like a 3 hour drive. Not sure if I buy that as where they're going to have the show.

I'm hoping they have it someplace that I've never been to. As convenient as having it NY this year will be there the last 2 years were really cool with flying to a new city for Wrestlemania.

If WrestleMania is in Montreal, that'd be fucking excellent. Two hours from where I live, hopefully they do land in Montreal.

Holy shit. That Superstar VIP package is fucking insane. If only I had that kind of money to throw around...

im headed from London but ideally looking for a room/condo share if people are doing it, Liambro was on about it but havent heard from him in a while

The tickets haven't gone on sale yet right?

I'm across the river from Metlife Stadium, so I'm 90% sure I'll be going.

this is a really stupid question to bunch of internet strangers...but anyone in the NYC/NJ tri-state area wanna go in on tickets? The friends I was gunna go with wound up backing out b/c they say the product has turned to shit, so i dont wanna go alone :(

I lol'd at them and told them "you dont not go to Wrestlemania if you're a wrestling fan."

Edit: for the people asking about on-sale dates. They go on sale in november.

Well although my head tells me it wont be London my heart wishes it could be. Yes 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania has to be special, it has to be bigger and better than ever!! Something never done before? So you take it to London, to a stadium that with floor seating could hold nearly 100,000 people which would make it the best attended Wrestlemania ever.

Tickets prices would be far higher than in the US which would make it the biggest grossing Mania in ticket sales etc. Time difference is an issue of course, and thats the main reason i dont think it will come over here, but the Olympic ceremonies went on until 1230 so you could start as late as 830 over here but i realise this is still an issue. The hype over here from our sports channels im sure would be more than the US hype. I think the fact it is in europe will increase interest from the European buyers and probably increase PPV buys over here and in Europe which could counteract a drop in US sales. I also think that they wouldnt decrease greatly anyway, hardcore fans will always buy Wrestlemania whatever time its on

Thats the argument for, but in my head i know damn well it will stop in the States for ever and a day. The best the UK can hope for is a secondary PPV in my opinion.

Oh well, i quite like the travelling for it anyway!!!

It would be cool to go to London, but absurdly expensive due the unfortunate exchange rate for Americans. Also I'll probably be a first year Law Student next year and leaving the country during the semester doesn't sound like a good idea. If I want to go I need the event to be in the US so I can realistically slip out of town for the weekend and maybe miss a day of school at the most.

There are a lot of other things that I will want to do that weekend so I'm not going to go crazy on the seats. I'm hoping I can get similar seats to Miami where I sat in the Club Level. The seats were by all the luxary boxes and there was AC and tons of seating inside before the shot started. The stadium might have been a dumb but not where I got to wait before the show.

Ok, just clearing things up.

WM29 tickets havent gone on general sale right? Just the packages?

I'm from England and i'm thinking of going, but the packages are pretty expensive. Me and my brother aren't overly fussed about Fan Access and HoF, so would you recommend us just to buying tickets for WM 29, the Raw afterward, and then finding out our hotel separately?

Can anyone give me any idea on what the pricing will be like for different tiered seating at WM29? Basically just so I can see how much we'd save if we didn't do a package deal, and if it's worth it.

The other thing is that annoying rumours about WM in London, because i'd definitely hold out a year to save on flights/hotels etc.

^ WM 29 tickets going out starting from November.

If you want to go seperately, hurry up, inform you with flights and hotel and compare it to the Travel Packages prices.
Tickets to be more expensive by every passing WM. Ringside : 1000 - 5000, Second best category: 700 - 1000, etc.

Right, every way I calculate it the package deals are a rip, so I'll just be buying the tickets and everything separately.

Last question then, when does the RAW for the night after mania go on general sale? Or is it only included in package deals?
